“Firstly I'd like to mention Shakshi. She is an absolute gem and lovely person. Since we've being dinning at Social Dhaba, which is now several years, she's been there and is an asset to the establishment. Her level of service, warmth and attention to detail is exemplar and makes our experience so much better. The food here is always on point. Perfectly balanced flavours and ever never had a dish that we've not enjoyed. We get a real variety of dishes from the menu, including the mix grill, salmon, basil paneer, avocado chat, garlic prawns, tardka dhal and some naans and breads. However, the best dish has to be the Handi Chicken curry. It's just amazing and a defo must. From the desserts, you have a selection of the classics, all of them fantastic so you can't go wrong. This place is regular for me and is always a place I recommend to others and take family and friend's to when in need for a really good Indian.”

“This gem of a local cafe, situated in the Battle of Britain Bunker visitor centre, is a lovely spot to drop into for a quick cuppa, maybe a slice of cake, or a freshly made sandwich. The food is always tasty, the prices entirely reasonable by London standards, and the service never anything less than first class. And this is a standard it's been able to maintain from the day it first opened its doors.”

“Latest: Took the dog here, they really are dog friendly! It is a shame the bar lady lacked manners and the ability to treat people like customers, she really let the place down. “You have to visit here. There's no other place like it. The menu is very reasonably priced, you'd find it hard to beat and they make really good voffee. My dad first took me here about 50 years ago. It has alot of history. On today's visit I tried the food. Chicken Curry was good. The whole bill was value for money.”

My husband always calls after making an order on UberEats to edit his burger, Himanshu always picks up the phone and has excellent customer service. “We celebrated my birthday at the Millers Tap Uxbridge on Saturday and i wouldn't usually write a review but i couldn't not on this occasion. The staff went above and beyond for us and we was a big table of 18! i was a bit worried as cocktails are on offer and everyone wanting different things could of held up the service but it didn't at all. Big shout out to Oana she was amazing made it a great experience for us even taking group pictures on a chair so we could all be in it haha. So many of my friends have said that they will be returning. The girls behind the bar were also great service with smiles all round and we cant wait to return.”

“My 6 year old son really enjoys his Tae Kwon Do lessons . Coach Niresh is a great teacher . He is very Patient with his pupils and really wants the kids to learn and enjoy the sport as much as he clearly does . I would definitely recommend these classes .”

“My daughter started in Uxbridge Early Years in 2020 after the lockdown. During her induction period, we received all support we needed from the staff. It was greatly appreciated, especially after being at home during pandemic. Throughout these three years, my daughter has learnt at the nursery not only communication, and language, but also social and emotional skills. She has met lifelong friends. Together, they have learnt to share and care for each other. Nursery staff has shown true professionalism, hard work , and most important, love for all kids. They have supported us every step of the way with her Potty Training, her tantrums and her fears. When we had our second daughter ,all staff helped us with our first daughter’s transition from a single child to a big sister. We are truly grateful for the knowledge and kindness. Our second daughter started 2years ago. Once again, her induction was wonderful thanks to the nursery. She is still breastfeeding. They have accommodated everything to continue with breast milk. I can see the amazing job of each member of the nursery when I see the smile on her face every time we arrive at the nursery. We have enjoyed all events organised by the nursery: Ladies breakfast, Jubilee Celebrations, World Book day, Christmas, Sports Week… These wonderful events help parents building relationships with each other and creating a support community for all our children. For all reasons above, Uxbridge Early Years Centre is a unique place with the best staff we could ask for. It is the nursery a parent would choose for his children. “I am proud to share that I have successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at Uxbridge College, within the Department of Engineering. This has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has not only expanded my technical knowledge but also strengthened my practical skills in the field of automotive engineering. “Both of my children attend Stepping Stones Nursery in Hillingdon and absolutely love it. The staff are warm, caring, and really dedicated. My kids are learning so much and always come home happy. “We brought our chow chow Boba in for a groom with Paige. Around the area some other groomers said they won't take chow chows due to them being "aggressive" but Paige happily took our pup in. Paige was the only groomer who gave us accurate advice to leave his puppy coat untouched and only trim once adult coat came in. All other groomers happily said they will cut his puppy coat just to get the money. Paige's service was extremely professional and she will be the only groomer we take our Boba to for his whole life. “I recently had the opportunity to try a burger and fries from Smash Hut, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The burger was cooked to perfection with a juicy patty and all the toppings I love - lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a special sauce. The bun was soft and held everything together perfectly. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and were seasoned just right. Not only was the food delicious, with a perfectly cooked patty and all my favorite toppings, but the pricing was great as well. The burger and fries were affordably priced and a great value for the quality of the meal. I would definitely recommend giving this burger and fries a try - you won't be disappointed! I will be back a lot!!!”

“Fantastic unisex Hairdressers/Barbershop offering a 5⭐️ haircutting experience. The shop is super tidy and clean, with friendly and welcoming staff members and both Barbers are very knowledgable with good hair cutting experience and barbering equipment. I regularly get my haircut/fade from Simon barber and he always does a great job. I would fully recommend anyone new to the shop.”

“My Son has been going to The Young Once since end of November 2024. When I saw him get off the breakfast table and walk by himself to the baby area, it was such a proud moment. He feels happy and at home there. This is the only nursery we have come across where the lovely staff has a big smile on their face at 8:00 am and same smile and enthusiasm at 6:00pm. This was so important to me. Kelly said to me you had the baby 9 months in your belly then a year of maternity and then you have to leave your baby with strangers, this nursery really gets it and gives our little humans all the love, confidence and care we wish for them. My little boy loves this place and when I ask him are you going to play with Carol. He has the biggest smile on his face and Carol is right, he can say her name now. I am so glad I visited this nursery and my little one is going to have amazing 4 years here.”

“We feel very lucky to have discovered Goulds Green Cattery after our usual cattery closed down. Our young rescue tabby is a very nervous cat but after dropping her off and seeing the cattery, we felt very happy that she would be very well cared for. “Truly exceptional daycare - a game changer for us! K9 Adventures was recommended by our behaviourist as one of the best in the area, and they absolutely live up to that reputation. This is the first daycare where I've felt 100% comfortable and able to truly trust my dog's care. The difference they've made to Jeff is remarkable. He was destructive and frustrated at previous daycares, but the structured environment and enrichment activities here have transformed him. He's now so much more confident and content at home too. The team are incredibly professional with excellent communication and genuinely care about each dog's wellbeing. Without K9 Adventures, I wouldn't be able to meet my work commitments while ensuring Jeff gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. Quality daycare like this is so rare. The whole team are amazing and we're so grateful for everything they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

“Joe and his team are absolutely wonderful with my dog. They demonstrate a real love and understanding of all dogs. You can see it in the way that the canine customers mingle happily together either waiting their turn or waiting to be collected. Until recently, when we sadly lost one of our westies, both went to Happy Hounds on a regular basis. I always know that my dog will come home looking beautiful and not at all stressed by the experience. Early opening hours are also such a bonus. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.”

“I’ve come here several times now for my regular haircut, and I’ve had cuts from everyone on their team. I have short hair and I go for a fade with a scissor cut on the top as well as a beard trim & shape up. The barbers are all able to do this very well. Wait times are typically short. I would recommend for any guys in the area.”

“The place was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. From the first moment you feel welcome, greated with a genuine smile. A big selection for meat eaters, but vegetarians will find few options as well. The portions are huge, and look very well presentable. Food is fresh and tastes really good. The cafe is very clean and well maintained. I liked quiet music in the background.”
