“Recently had a 10th Birthday party at Goals, South Ruislip. This was the first time using Goals and wish we had done it for all previous football parties as this was by far the best. Excellent value for money with great facilities. Special mention for Miles, he made the party what it was. It seemed he remembered the name of all ten of the kids within minutes! “Ruislip Stars Nurseries is a fantastic nursery that my husband and I would highly recommend. Our daughter started at Victoria Road but has now moved to the new St Mary's (on the Fairway) branch. Our daughter has attended full-time since she was ten months old and has thrived under the care and affection shown by the whole team. They have always provided the highest level of care and enabled her to achieve her full potential. Our daughter suffers from multiple severe food allergies and it is very reassuring knowing that she is being looked after by such a diligent team. Nicole is a wonderful leader and is working with a fantastic team. Our son also attended the setting during his summer holidays and had nothing but positive things to say - in fact he was a little sad when his time there came to an end! Thank you Ruislip Stars for being so amazing!”

“Truly exceptional daycare - a game changer for us! K9 Adventures was recommended by our behaviourist as one of the best in the area, and they absolutely live up to that reputation. This is the first daycare where I've felt 100% comfortable and able to truly trust my dog's care. The difference they've made to Jeff is remarkable. He was destructive and frustrated at previous daycares, but the structured environment and enrichment activities here have transformed him. He's now so much more confident and content at home too. The team are incredibly professional with excellent communication and genuinely care about each dog's wellbeing. Without K9 Adventures, I wouldn't be able to meet my work commitments while ensuring Jeff gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. Quality daycare like this is so rare. The whole team are amazing and we're so grateful for everything they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

“Went in to Split Endz last week and was told by the owner that it's better to book an appointment, so i booked one for today. She doesn't do fresh cuts, so I had mine washed, cut and then blow dried, all the while wearing a black jacket covering and then a pink towel over my shoulders. I had long hair and wanted my hair to be cut to shoulder length and straight all the way across, which all cost £30. And as Lisa started cutting the back, she showed me with mirrors how it looks so far and asked if I was happy with the length or for it to be cut a bit more. The atmosphere, people who came in and the owner herself felt friendly and comfortable to be around and all throughout Lisa and I had good conversation about her shop and she answered any questions I had about hair. Remember Lisa, take the supplement Biotin for strong finger nails and head hair! (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧ At the end of the haircut I was surprised to see no stray hairs on my clothes, like it would usually happen when I go to the hairdressers, so you can honestly just go to this salon and then leave to go about your day, without having to change your clothes again. I had a pleasant first time experience here at this hairdressers and look forward to the next time I go in again.”

Halal chicken available so make sure you try the delicious buffalo wings Finishing off our meal we really enjoyed their apple pie. The coffee here is amazing. True authentic Italian coffee and we enjoyed it with our lotus biscoff biscuit.”

“This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“I’ve been here around four or five times in the last three years and all I can say is if I lived closer I’d be here every day their salad is impeccable. The portion size is humongous. The flavours are out of this world when you think of a normal boring salad, this is nothing at all like it, It’s amazing. And even after the first time trying it, I still drive 30 to 40 minutes to come here to get it Over and over and my order has never changed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“We were a group having lunch before a funeral at the crematorium. We were welcomed so genuinely by Lou who I assume runs the pub. Gorgeous outdoor seating area and the flowers are so well looked after. Lunch was simple but delicious which suited us perfectly. I’d highly recommend here and it’s a shame we don’t live close by.”

“A great school, nurturing but at the same time challenging children’s capabilities, whilst teaching solid Christian ethos. During lockdown the school carried on teaching via zoom every day, which was amazing and very important for the children's development. My son loved going to BWI :-)”

“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”
