“Ckyra has been an absolutely outstanding Vice President over the past two years. She is, without a doubt, the most active and in-person KSU staff member I’ve encountered, always visible and approachable on campus. Whenever my friends or I had an issue, no matter how big or small, she went out of her way to help us as best she could. What sets Ckyra apart is how much she genuinely considers everyone. She listens carefully, gives thoughtful advice, and exercises excellent judgment in every situation. Her dedication, fairness, and ability to balance different perspectives have made a real difference to student life. She doesn’t just do her job — she actively works to make the university experience better for everyone, whether it’s supporting students with concerns, improving services, or just being someone you know you can rely on. Ckyra’s energy, commitment, and empathy make her a role model for the KSU team and a true asset to the student body. Having someone like her representing us has made my time at university so much more positive and enjoyable. I can’t recommend her highly enough — she genuinely goes above and beyond.”

“This is a very good school. It doesn't get the credit it deserves. My child is currently at the school and is predicted A's. This is thanks to the hard work my son has put in and the hard working teachers, The teachers have always been courteous and supportive of my son and me. I think some of the reviewers with negative comments have a grudge to bear. These are teenage children after all! Do you honestly think children from private schools and other schools behave like kings and queens? Being a parent and having friends with children from private, grammer and other schools in the area, i know, for a fact that is not true. This is a excellent school. Don't judge a book by its cover.”

“Helped me develop my skills over 3 years, missed a lot of secondary school and got me to a level of education where I have now graduated university and am now studying my masters. Maths was a bit of a joke as multiple teachers were replaced and lockdown did affect education. Overall teaching is good. Most of these reviews are based on the students that come from different backgrounds, this doesn’t represent the quality of teaching.”

“This place isn’t just a regular college or training centre, it’s so much more! After having taught there for nearly 12 years, I can honestly say that the vast majority of staff that work there, do so because they are passionate about what they do. They are passionate about the people they work with and the majority aren’t at CG just for the money. If you apply yourself and work hard when attending, you will progress and will have a great chance of having some very unique and rare opportunities. Just ask the hundreds (and probably now thousands) that are now in full time employment as a direct result of City Gateway. As with most things in life; the more you put in, the more you will get out. If you have a good attitude, and work hard, then you will go a long way and lot lot further than if you just attend and do the bare minimum. That’s a promise!”
