    Ukrainian Institute in London

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Open

“When I first started learning Ukrainian, like many people, I chose a language learning app. After a month on my chosen app, I realised I was not learning much. I found the app to be not well-structured for my needs. I decided I needed an online (human) tutor, and after searching the internet, I came across the Ukrainian Institute London's language school. I searched for reviews of their language school and saw that they had an approval rating in the high nineties, a rating well above the app I had chosen. After completing my A1-level online class with the Ukrainian Institute London, I am delighted with my progress, which I feel is clearly down to the teacher-led learning, which incorporated real-time feedback, Ukrainian cultural context, and, importantly, the tutor's high skill in teaching the language. If you want to learn Ukrainian and are willing to pay (far less than I expected for three months), I highly recommend the Ukrainian Institute London.”

    London Christian School

    ★★★★☆ 4.3

“London Christian School feels like a caring community of families and teachers, rather than a school! The smaller size means everyone knows everyone, yet newcomers are warmly welcomed. Whilst there is naturally a strong Christian ethos, different religions are respected and embraced. Our children are in Years 5 and 3, have both been at the school since the age of four, and come home every day tired but elated! The teaching is excellent; strong academics are balanced with sport, music, extra-curricular activity and individual pastoral support where needed. The location is fantastic for anyone living in the “inner south east” London area or working around London Bridge or the City. The only limitation of LCS is that due to the central location, sports fields are not on-site. But they make the best possible use of the rooftop playground and the nearby council park and astroturf, with the older children heading out to the local facilities daily for a run around. If we go into any further lockdowns during 2021, LCS can be trusted to continue to deliver a fantastic educational experience; ensuring no child gets left behind whilst being realistic about what is possible in a home-schooling environment. In the meantime, it has been clear to us that the teachers and children alike are very excited to be back at school and are making the most of the time they spend together - having fun and building friendships, learning and exploring, and feeling part of their special school community once again. We cannot recommend LCS highly enough!”

“Was rushed to ST Mary’s hospital after being found unresponsive outside my house and had to be resuscitated in AE and instantly taken to ICU (Intensive Critical Unit), all this told after stepping down after nearly 2 weeks to Douglas Ward due to Acute organ failure. Spending nearly one month at this ward being taken care of by incredible amazing staff from day one learning to eat, walk and slowly coming off all the tubes and machines in the end became somewhat of a veteran seeing people coming and going. They where there at my most vulnerable and showed kindness compassion even when dealing with other very difficult aggressive patients. I can’t express my gratitude enough! Thank you always!”

    VFS Global - London

    ★★★☆☆ 3.1
    Closed

“Well run and well coordinated. They open early affording a wider choice of time slots for visa appointments. Staff is very helpful in answering questions for submissions and for collections. Ticketing system needs enhancement as the waiting times are very misleading perhaps due to frequency of updates and queue movement between the gaps.”
