“I started going to The Wonderlab 10 yrs ago when they opened, I am still going there now. It is a really friendly environment, great on advice on hair colouring and cuts to suit your hair and life style. Even fabulous bride and mother of the bride hair styles which we were lucky to have in 2019. The stylists are all great, so if my favourite stylist is unavailable, I have no qualms on booking in with one of the others! Hopefully The Wonderlab will carry on for another 10 years and more!”

Being open late on Thursdays and Sunday means that it always possible to walk in and get a really good haircut. “After buying a large kitchen table and chairs from Steve a couple of years ago I recently returned to get a sideboard for the living room. The latter of which was subject to very specific width, depth and height requirements which were easily accommodated. Steve is clearly passionate about his work and this shows through in the finished item. Both items I purchased were built with high quality materials, attention to detail and importantly a sense of uniqueness. Do not assume this comes at a price. It doesn’t! I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost on both occasions and I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future.”

This is some of the best and most real looking artificial jewellery in the U.K. (even though many of the gemstones are natural stones too). “We have just returned from posh frocks after my daughter tried on lots of dresses for her prom. What an incredible range they have and what lovely staff. We didn’t really know what we were looking for but the lovely ladies helped narrow down the style, material and colours with so much patience and enthusiasm.
