She listened to what we did & didn’t want, and produced the perfect plan, attention to detail impeccable. Perceptive & empathetic, she made suggestions which cleverly matched our tastes but also pushed us slightly out of our comfort zone - but she was absolutely right to do so. She said from the get go that we we had the room of the wow factor and our new kitchen would match, if not trump, the space. And she was right. I would also like to take this opportunity in saying that all of the people she works with - installer, plumber, electrician - are first class too. Resourceful, mindful, and just genuinely nice people. The whole project went like clockwork, Vivienne was always on hand to oversee everything & to answer any and all questions. “Got a haircut from the young African British guy on the last chair when you walk in. He was doing a great job with the blade and then loads of customers randomly came into the shop 10 minutes after me and then the 2 other barbers started talking in their African language telling him to hurry up. I told my barber to ignore the uncles and take his time. Paid my barber double the price £40 in cash and gave him a cold bottle of water from the local corner shop because it’s a hot day! Moral of the story, “Don’t tell your colleague to rush someone’s haircut” I could easily give this shop a 1 star review but I’m not because I believe in giving people second chances!”

“Went for a different cut which was quite a bit shorter than the usual. I was persuaded to trust the hairdresser and that he would make it look good. They were right, it did look good ! I was happy with the change. The couple were friendly and the lady gave me a great head massage during the shampoo. We were glad of the recommendation.”

“I booked the balayage package with Adam after seeing an instagram advert which offered the cheapest price for balayage I’d seen in London. I thought it might be too good to be true but it absolutely was not - he was exceptional ! This was my favourite hair cut and colour I’ve ever had. Adam recommended a colour that would suit me (ash brown) but was very receptive when I told him I wanted something more golden and delivered exactly what I wanted ! He was very friendly and professional. Although the price I paid was slightly more than the £99 offered, it was for very good reason and he clearly explained why and checked it was okay before starting (I needed my previously orangey toned dyed hair to be dyed brown before the balayage), which gave me the ideal results. Adam was meticulous and spent so much time on my hair to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, and I feel that the service given was well worth more than the £99 he charged. I could not recommend Adam’s service more and I will definitely be back !!”

Went above and beyond in the showroom- putting the mattress we wanted to test on the style of bed frame we have at home to simulate the firmness. We missed a special offer for a free mattress protector and duvet but they called us to say they had managed to get us the items anyway. Then on delivery- realizing I had 3 broken slats on the bed, they helped me cut down some spares to fit. Absolutely amazing faultless service. I would highly recommend Bensons.”
