“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. “Amazing little place wondered around the area and found this place had a look and decided to stop in, having never heard or tried Romanian cuisine it was an uncertainty but I was gladly surprised. Would recommend it to any one in the area. Decently priced and the food was OK can't really compare it to other places but it was a generally nice experience in a pretty bland street.”

“Excellent food - lots of variety and interesting choices. I had spicy fried 'fish' and then a sweet and sour tofu. Really good and very reasonably priced for London. Staff were lovely - we were served by a young lady who was super friendly and helpful. The chef popped out of the kitchen at one point too, to check we were enjoying it and to talk us through the satay sauce (which is so good we had to ask for extra!).”

“Wow! Some people are really trolling hard on this establishment (it's okay we know where your loyalty lies). It's not unusual for the row of shops along that stretch to fear new competitors but this is somewhat unwarranted. I frequent there very often at different hours of the day and I see how the shop is run. Rows are immaculately shelved with amazing products from all over the world but mainly Iran. This is a chance to try something different my diverse community. Go ahead! The staff are attentive and while I admit that during the first few weeks they weren't staffed according to the flow of customers, they soon recruited people and are now functioning very well with great service. I asked for Fizzy water and the lady behind the counter although she and I both spoke no Polish, we managed to workout which was Fizzy and which was still. That's great service! The bakery and the freshly made Iranian bread is the great part of this shop. Just try it and you will see how fresh and with care its made. Please visit and dont let the haters put you off.”
