Vibrant atmosphere in Watford

“I had the pleasure of visiting Burritos Watford recently. The mexican tottilla wrap were absolutely mouthwatering—the Chicken was juicy and packed with flavour, and the combination of toppings was perfect. It's definitely one of the best burritos I’ve had in a while! I also tried the mexican rice, which are something truly special. The way they’ve put it all together is unique and unlike anything I've had before. It's a must-try for anyone looking for something different and tasty! A big shoutout to udaya for her amazing customer service. She made the experience even more enjoyable with her friendly and helpful attitude. It’s not every day you come across someone so dedicated to making sure you have the best dining experience. Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service! “Called in for breakfast today and was met by lovely friendly staff. Seated in a booth with my friends and the place looked clean and comfortable. Only 2 waitresses on so a slight delay but it didn’t detract from the experience. I enjoyed my Cote breakfast and the produce was quality and very tasty. Beautiful poached eggs. Excellent service throughout and I would recommend Cote Brassiere.”

“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! “Best premier inn for load of different things. 1. Location 20 mins on train into Central London 2. Staff amazing friendly and service is great. Shout out to Zoe for making feel at home 3 cost so close to London but so much value for money. 4. Easy to drive to 5 mins from M1 and cheap parking. 5. Very clean and tidy.”

“Massive superstore with every conceivable item you could possibly ever want ranging from frozen food to fresh fruit and vegetables to clothes and tableware and more I really like the fact that within this store there is a McDonalds. Lottery Kiosk, Hair Salon, Card and Gift Shop, Dry Cleaning and toilets. Also the staff here are so friendly, polite and helpful which made a really enjoyable shopping experience. Huge car park with plenty of free parking and a petrol station too. Highly recommended.”

“I know Chipotle really well bc I used to go 3 times a week at certain points and have been eating there (in the states) since 2003. Despite going to this location only once, I had a great experience probably the best I’ve had in the UK. Chicken was nicely charred and had really good smoky flavour. Salsas, brown rice and guacamole were so delicious. I will definitely try to go back.”

“Always been too lazy to head to this end of town, which is probably a mistake. Great coffee and nice, unobtrusive music in the background. No food for me but it looks like there were more than few options. Plenty of seating inside and outside. If you’ve no one to chat with then there’s all that vinyl to browse instead!”

“I recently got a regular pedicure at Gloss Bar, after being recommended it by a man I knew who had been going for some time (he had the Gentleman Mani and Pedi - he loved both of them). The overall service was professional, kind, and efficient. The salon was very clean, and had a minimalist feel to it. My nail tech Rita was friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. I thought the final result was great! Recommended!”

“This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I will recommend this place to everyone if you want a good Caribbean dish.”

The Prawn Tempura was perfectly crispy and light, making it a delightful appetizer. For the main course, we enjoyed the Chicken Garlic and Peppers with Rice, which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of garlic and spice. “Visited today for my mums birthday - we booked last minute after a change of plans. We had 3 courses and every single one was delicious. Highly recommend the Sunday roast and the sticky toffee! The service was great - special thanks to the two young guys (I didn’t catch their names but a really young lad and the barman with plaits) for looking after us. We will be back!”
