“I went to The Pied Bull with my girlfriend and her sister and parents and I couldn’t fault it one bit. I ordered the chicken burger with chips while my girlfriend had the steak pie which was cooked to perfection. Proper pub food for offer that were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, especially Daisy as she was our waitress throughout our time there. The whole place was really clean and cosy with classic 80’s and 90’s music that fit the vibe they’re going for. Great food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back again soon!”

“The only nail shop I will go to. This shop is run by Andy and his lovely wife Lee. I have been going there for four years now and anything I request they can do. My nails never break, they last for weeks and I love the way I feel when I leave the shop! Friendly environment. “This is definitely within the top 10 Indian restaurants in the UK - and I have eaten at maybe 200 different Indian restaurants. The food was so fresh and well flavoured, the naans were super soft and the portion sizes really generous. The peshwari rice was really unique, sweet and nutty and definitely worth trying. The food came really quickly and every single dish was prepared carefully and with extra flavour. I’ll definitely be coming back to visit this hidden gem many times in the future!”

“Staying locally we have visited this venue a few times with our children and 2 dogs. A very friendly, welcoming fun place that has a fantastic atmosphere. Due to refurbishing the kitchen, food was not available. However, the pub owners recommended, adjacent is a barge boats on the canal "Baltic Seafood" where we could purchase food and bring back to the pub to enjoy. The TV was showing live sport and we al enjoyed playing a game of darts too.”

“I cannot recommend this class enough! It is so much fun. I joined the 5 week beginners course that started end of April. It's often nervewracking starting a new class, but I am so glad that I did. Yazmin is really attentive and observant of all the bellydance students in the class and really helps everyone to master the moves in a respectful and understanding way. It's a wonderful class with a really easy-going, non-judgemental vibe. The lessons are paced well and it really works your muscles without even realising, whilst learning a beautiful form of dance. Looking forward to joining classes again in the future!”
