They keep a good stock, meaning only some things are for ordering in, and then they arrive very fast. Yes, they do not pick up the phone well, should be improved, but they are very kind, helpful informative. I would feel v confident having a Pharmacist Consultation, with Mr Whitaker. who is v experienced, kind and caring. Many vaccines can be given and the range of services is very broad. They remain the best pharmacy service in the area.”

“The store is in front of Bush Hill Park overground station. The area is quite calm, with enough parking spaces. Area wise, it's quiet small but you can find almost all the items in the store.”

“I normally use this store for small purchases and amazon/ebay deliveries. They are always professional and serve you with utmost respect. I recently dropped my wallet containing over £100 cash and credit cards. To my biggest surprise, this was found, securely kept and handed back to me after checking my id by the store manager without anything missing. Very honest people. “Five star service for my pedicures with Bailey. She does my (difficult) pedicures and makes a very good job considering I have an immune disorder and peeling nails, and damaged toes. She makes my feet look not only normal, but very pretty and people compliment me on my gels. She has done many treatments but I always feel she takes as much care with a regular client as she would new business (which doesn't happen at other salons). I think it is because this is a family owned and run business (owner and daughters). I once overslept as my alarm didn't go off and missed my appt, I felt so bad, but not once did I get any grumpiness, they just said it was OK and rebooked me as if it was no problem. They're intelligent people as well and really understand the business so you feel completely safe with treatments even if you have allergies or other medical problems. You can't say that about many beauticians; elsewhere, I'd discuss certain skin or immune problems and get a vacant stare like I'm talking beyond any comprehension which put me off. I'm looking forward to trying out the hairdressing here too after being let down by another local Hairdressers. I've seen the results of some really interesting hair colours, in new pastels shades and some great crops on women from the resident hairdresser at the Laurels on all ages. One was a blue-Violet grey tonal dye on long hair. The most I get elsewhere has been standard blonde highlights but I've always wanted Emo, punk or rock chick hair but at my age (mid 50s) I usually end up with the same straight looking shoulder length "older person's" haircut like the World has given up on me, and I've lost the ability to be visible. I don't think the Laurels have that attitude, the owner looks so amazing, I won't tell you her age as that's rude but you wouldn't believe it, it's a good ad for their business. If anyone is going to understand my wanting to still have fun with my hair in my middle aged years they will. I'll leave another review when I've had it done at The Laurels.”

“I shop here semi frequently, most recently a few days ago. I know the store pretty well and not much surprises me but I met the most helpful staff member, Valentino was outstanding! He went above and beyond, assisting me at self checkout and showing tremendous patience even when I left my items to go get something else that I'd forgotten to add. Came up with a brilliant solution to a trolley problem I was having and overall took great care of me as a customer. Tesco should be proud to have Valentino he's a real asset to this organisation whether it's recognised or not.”

“On a snow day even walking poses a threat for students getting to school for my son is very difficult as he has told me that the roads are covered with ice and he has slipped many times. Bus take long and traffic is terrible opening the school is a good way to ensure many students absence go on record”

They gave a good well rounded education and prepared me for secondary school.All of the teachers are nice and very good at teaching. I was given lots of different opportunities in sport e.g. Football (I went to Tottenham training ground a number of times) Athletics and district sports.The school were very fair and I loved my time at merryhills.”

“A very convenient store has pretty much everything you need even in this small store,I like how it gives back to the community unlike other supermarkets out there. I mostly buy catfood and fresh produce which doesn't cost the earth such a lovely variety of freshly baked goods,I only wish they had more vegetarian meals and sandwiches but other than that good friendly polite staff who help pack your bags properly :)”
