“Our family booked The Hammer In Hand for a wake yesterday. Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. “Visited today for my mums birthday - we booked last minute after a change of plans. We had 3 courses and every single one was delicious. Highly recommend the Sunday roast and the sticky toffee! The service was great - special thanks to the two young guys (I didn’t catch their names but a really young lad and the barman with plaits) for looking after us. We will be back!”

Food allergies and care were taken very seriously, on top of there being many options should you have allergies. Amazing food to top it off. Highly recommend to you all. “Very helpful staff. It's very nice tasting food. Had the bacon cheese burger and the kids fish bites. Didn't have to wait too long for food or have to wait too long between the main meal and desert. Could do with a menu for younger kids who have less appetite. The breakfast the next morning was lovely. Only downfall to the breakfast was the eggs but that can't be helped when they are in the heated trays.”
