“1st session: Glyn from Cheshire Dog Services Ltd is amazing. Took us ages to pick our jaw up from the floor. We've got an 8 month old GSD who pulls on walks, doesn't listen to my wife at all, jumps up all the time in the house and on walks. In one session Glyn had him listening to his every word, waiting 15 minutes next to a pile of treats without eating them. He showed us how to get Samson to sit, lie down, wait at the door and how to get Samson to heel on his walks. He gave us clear commands to give Samson in various situations. It was amazing,. The next day I took Samson out for his walk, did what Glyn had told us and he walked to heel, wasn't as distracted by people and other dogs. A week on he's brilliant on walks. We both enjoy them a lot more, he heels, leaves other distractions behind him, no longer jumps at, or on people on his walks, and he doesn't try to pull your arm off when other dogs are around [to play with them] . He's a different dog, all thanks to Glyn. I cannot recommend Glyn and Cheshire Dog Services enough for what they have done for us and Samson. We're continuing to see Glyn to embed what we've learned so far and to enrich ours and Samson's future.”

“My daughter has been here for just under 2 years and I couldn’t put in to words how happy and grateful we are to CDN thelwall, every room she has been in she has adored all the team and they treat all the kids like they would want their own to be treated, the compassion, dignity and respect they give to the children and the knowledge they hold creates the perfect environment for all children, I will be so sad when she moves to school because i know how much she loves it here. “Andy is an excellent physiotherapist, recommended to me by my brother-in-law. He managed to fit me in at the last minute while I was visiting Manchester from Brighton. He's very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was wrong with my hamstrings in a clear and easy to understand way. He also followed up with useful information after the appointment. “An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

The pre-school staff are beyond excellent and my child has learnt so much to prepare for primary school during their time at Honey Bears. The activities are varied and well thought through. Can’t recommend Honey Bears enough.”

“Fantastic preschool setting with very passionate and caring staff. My daughter attended this preschool and I cannot recommend it enough. It was a huge factor in her development especially during covid when the usual socialisation opportunities were extremely few and far between. Now she has started school and teacher's positive feedback on her preparedness level starting reception, social skills and confidence prompted me to write this review. Children are offered a wide range of activities and learning opportunities as well as fantastic support to explore and develop their personalities. Keep up the good work!”

“Bowden House provides a wonderful setting for your child to thrive. Having had my older son at another local and reputable nursery and from talking to friends, I can honestly say it sits head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the setting small and intimate, the staff are friendly to children and parents alike. My little boy had a special relationship with his key worker Ruby, who was always so bubbly and positive with him. Although he only attended two days a week would talk about her a lot and was always excited to go to nursery. The nursery keeps parents well informed of activities for the week ahead (always varied, creative and educational) and provide regular updates on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the locality.”

“My daughter loved this nursery (and I did too). She started at 1 and stayed through till age 4 attending the Pre-school. I feel this nursery is very child centred, always keen to meet individual needs (Unlike some of the larger corporate nurseries). The staff are caring and the staff turnover is low. Management provide excellent customer service and you can really tell this is a family run business and the people running the nursery care. They also cater excellently for dietary needs. I feel they go above and beyond and for the children. Lots of exciting and well thought out events. I would recommend this nursery to any new parent.”

“I was very nervous about leaving my precious 10-month-old in nursery for the first time but she has settled in beautifully. The staff are very friendly and caring, and really listen to you to try to help your child settle in and thrive. The outdoor space is amazing and I love seeing photos of my little one playing outside. The nursery uses Tapestry to record photos and daily observations, so it's easy for parents to see what their little ones have been doing during the day. I'm very happy so far and look forward to seeing my daughter learn more skills at this nursery.”
