“Mezzaluna has become our favourite Italian restaurant. We love to bring more and more friends here, to try their wonderful menu! The staff are all so lovely and friendly, they even help you make up your mind when you're uncertain what to have! The facilities are clean and well kept, the atmosphere is cosy yet spacious. We look forward to every opportunity to come back! Our favourites are the carbonara and another dish with pistachios crushed and mixed in. Their desserts are freshly made on site and if you get the chance try their profiteroles, you won't be disappointed!”

“My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!”

“Absolutely amazing! So close to the train station which obviously is so nice We stayed in room 6. The room was lovely and clean, excellent variety in tea tray (oat milk option as well!) and still very spacious, especially for a budget option! Couldn’t have been more happy! Manager who gave us the keys was so friendly and nice. All in all amazing stay! Lovely to have the shower in the room as well (came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was all very good quality and smelt vvv nice) Couldn’t have asked for better! Even came with ear plugs but we had no issues with any noise :) thank you so much!”

“This was our first time using Ellen Smith Coach Company and I have to say they were 5 star. From the punctual pick up at our home to the return journey everything was first class. Our driver Yvonne was wonderful and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for us. She was a careful and skilled driver. Despite us sitting at the back of the coach the journey was so smooth and you hardly knew you were moving. This was down to her excellent driving skills. The hotel The Royal York and Faulkner was also first class and this was obvious from the extremely efficient and quick way we were all checked in. This hotel prides itself in dedication and attention to detail to ensure that an atmosphere of relaxation and friendliness pervades. The hotel enjoys an unrivalled position on the sea front at Sidmouth and minutes walk from the beautiful town centre. What a superb holiday. Definitely will be returning with Ellen Smith. With that being said,… This establishment is made with love, passion, blood, sweat, and determination that came from its owner, Jori Lakars, aka Hott Mama, aka The Mama who always gave herself goals and standards that benefited the world to the fullest and implemented the highest standards possible. A quick glance at her path shows that she has been successful in the industry well known in a way that the number of 5 reviews or social media followers will not reflect. I met her personally only once before she moved to England about 17 years ago. She was working in a popular tattoo shop in Wicker Park that I won’t name. ( if you know, you know) the had long ravenous hair and substantially fewer tattoos. Although I had met many women who were in the industry, few were celebrated by their peers. The shop posted a large banner in the front window that said ‘we have a female tattoo artist.’ I had never seen that before even in a liberal city like Chicago. Soon after that, every shop in the area had at least one ‘female.’ She went on to work at many of the best rated shops and worked on the best artists in the business as clients. When she moved, we were sad yet proud to see that she was following her passion overseas. She would wonder up one of the top artists anywhere she worked. She finally got her own place and put every ounce of work into it. Sadly, she had just acquired two young brilliant talents just recently. A couple of weeks ago, she passed away in a car accident without any warning. I t is a shock that she is gone and her energy is eternally resting. I have known her half of my life and I have never known anyone like her. A true inspiration and individual person who is driven to create. If you are lucky enough to have had a moment with her, you know what I mean. Love to her local community from Chicago. We were all lucky enough to be together for as long as we could,…… Cheers to Jori.”

“Our kitten Louie has stayed here twice now with a third time booked in. The owner Heidi is so lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating and takes such good care of all the animals! The pens are very spacious and have lots of toys to keep them entertained. We know he’s in safe hands and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!”

“Living here has been a very nice experience. The team in the building is always friendly and helpful — Haj and Tyler in particular have been great and always willing to assist. It’s clear that the staff genuinely listen to any issues we bring up and try to address them, which makes a big difference. The community events are a lovely way to meet people and feel more connected. One of the things I really enjoy is how much my dog loves it here — and the fact that everyone here seems to love her too is heartwarming. Overall, it’s a great place to live, though it would have been even better if the price was just a little more affordable.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“My family and I stayed at Pillo Rooms in Chapel Street, Manchester. We had a wonderful stay, the property was clean and comfortable. The internet connection was fast and the host was very friendly, welcoming and responsive. The location of the property is ideal, closely located to shops, a cafe and a gym are both situated opposite the property. Access to public transport was very good. There is a supermarket within a 5 mins walk from the property on the same street and a larger supermarket 15 mins away. Overall we had a great time!”

“brilliant that in a central location 30 seconds from some big museums, hospitals, parks etc you can have a substantial meal and a drink, sat down for less than £7. Always quick, friendly staff, never an issue getting a table. Leave the greggs next door alone, and come get a snack here.”

“A quiet little place to chill and relax. Just over the canal from Canal Street. It's the home of the Tree of Life and the Beacon of Hope memorials dedicated to those who have lost to their lives to AIDS. It's also the home of the Alan Turing memorial. This is a lovely place to visit during the day but, as I've been told, it can be a little bit different at night as there is very little lighting.”
