“Just had my son’s 3rd birthday at Little Bees/Studio 96 and couldn’t recommend it more. It was the easiest party ever, we just brought the cake. They sorted decoration, food and party bags (which were brilliant). The space is perfect for free play for a big group of kids and everyone loved it. Staff are so kind and helpful too. “Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family”

The variety of classes on offer far outstrips any other studio in Manchester and they offer great value for money. Easily accessible, just 10 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, if you are looking to start out or to drop by and practice insane tricks, Polefire is without a doubt the best place to go!”

All the artists here are super friendly and talented everyone was chatting and laughing during our session, just a really great vibe! “This is one place where you can come alive, the breath of fresh air while watching the sports activities. I love the inclusivity. They have a team for physically challenged teenagers and kids. They come with their carers or families, and it is an amazing sports center to get on a sports team. And yes! Pets are allowed in. There are no seats here, but u can always come with one.”

“The FOH Magda and Jack are amazing and super helpful whenever I need anything. Night FOH need improvement as we’ve only had agency staff recently which impacts service charges and when our actual FOH is here, they aren’t at the front desk. Other than that and a couple of service charge issues, I’ve no complaints! Super nice building to live in with really nice sociable people. Again, Paulina, Donna and day FOH team are amazing and super friendly. They even put on events for us residents here every now and then.”

“Good location. Staff are friendly. Discount parking for the multi story car park-£11 for 24 hours. Room is clean and comfortable. Free of charge for late check out which is superb so I could get a quick shower after ran the Manchester half! Dog friendly hotel. Love it! My dog enjoyed the view.”

All in all a lovely environment. Gym goers are friendly too and helpful, if you're new to the gym! Price of membership definitely worth it for the location and the facilities!”

“I was there to have my hair done for my son’s wedding. Dilan made sure my experience was perfect. I arrived all tense and he quickly made me relax. “After 20 years away from ballet (and off pointe!), I decided to back to adult ballet about 20 kilos heavier and with horribly out of shape arches! Heather's studio is tucked away under a railway bridge so is a little noisy at times, but other than that, it's a gorgeous experience. Heather herself is gentle and sweet, super encouraging (not at all like Madame Pauline when I was young!) and the best thing is: THIS IS A FULLY DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE STUDIO! I wasn't the only person my age (40s), there were all genders (including trans and non-binary people) and ages and colours, which was lovely and welcoming. My class had a working dad in his 50s, who was just as comfy alongside me as the younger, fitter kids. Really loved it and if you can't make it to Salford, Heather offers online courses as well, which are just as challenging and fun!”

“Salsa de Cuba! Fantastico! The ONLY authentic, Havana university trained dance teachers in Manchester. I have done all of their dance courses except one in the last 5 years. Juan & Susan have also given me the amazing opportunity to participate in many dance performances of which I am eternally honoured to have done. I also went on one of their Cuba holidays which was one of the best experiences ever! Not many dancers can say that they’ve even danced with their dance teachers beautiful family in their kitchen, in the heart of Havana with a live band.....you’ll never experience that on any other Cuba package holiday! “Stayed here for one night as a solo traveler. Had to book last minute, as a previous letting agent cancelled. I was sent check-in instructions promptly and had no issues checking in myself (there is no reception desk but they send you very clear instructions on how to self-checkin). The room was spotless clean (kudos to the cleaning and maintenance team). Everything you could possibly need was available inside, from tea/coffee, microwave/oven, fridge, basic cutlery, etc. There was TV and free wifi too. Would definitely stay again in the future.”

“A friendly, accessible and clean gym with plenty of equipment, a nice pool and spa area and a good range of classes with good, motivated instructors. The changing area is big with lots of showers and space to get changed. I usually go early in the morning before work or on weekends and it’s a nice amount of busy. Not too packed but also not dead.”
