“Called MDR earlier today as the lever to open my bonnet wasn’t working. I needed it sorting as travelling a distance next day and wanted to check oil and water. Was asked to take car down a couple of hours later for them to have a look at it. I did this and they sorted it within couple of minutes, also checked my oil and water levels and didn’t charge me anything. Great service and refreshing to see we still have good people out there. Thankyou so much.”

“Had some issues in getting my car booked in at the carshop (now motor range) even thought it's under warranty, contacted this garage and saw me same day eventhough they were busy, test drove my car and also did a diagnostic. “Called into the garage today because the engine management light had come explained to the gentleman on reception we wernt sure whether we could drive it or not he immediately put his diagnostic computer on the car explaind the problem to us which wasn't as severe as we thought reset the light on the dash and wouldn't even let us pay for his service so we put a donation into his hospice charity box what a nice man would highly recommend”

My son took it here - 2 days later I was driving my lovely Kia home - not the BCM and fully repaired wiring, hugely pleased!!!”

“Exceptional service from Mike and the team! I had a slow puncture in my back left run flat tyre which I took to National first to have it looked at and get a quote. They advised it couldn't be fixed due to the placement of the nail which was causing the puncture. Instead, they told me a replacement run flat tyre would cost £310 minimum (which seemed crazy!). Rather than do that immediately, I wanted to check in with somewhere local to compare prices. I took my car to Mike where he inspected and told me that those prices were outrageous. Once he had looked at it, he said that I didn't even necessarily need run flats, but National never bothered to mention that and tried upselling me massively. In the end, Mike and the team replaced BOTH my back tyres for a total of £160 all in, double the tyres for half the price and great service at the same time. The tyres were B grade grip and on par quality with Pirrelli tyres. Overall, very happy and couldn't recommend Mike enough if you need new tyres. Ordered them and fitted next day, only took 1 hour to do the work. Thanks very much!”

I brought my car to him and after a diagnostics tests he diagnosed the issue — a faulty water pump. He clearly explained what the problem was and where it was coming from, then gave me a quote right after the diagnosis. When I asked when it could be fixed, he said he could start immediately.
