“We are regular customers with Cheers and always get home delivery, we have had one bad experience with the food. As regular customers, we know what we enjoy, and one time it just wasn’t tasteful, chips were frozen and the food standard was very poor. We considered never ordering again, but Micheal has absolutely rectified any doubts we ever had about ordering again. He personally took time to ensure if we were to order again, the food would be to high standards. I just want to say, they have absolutely smashed it out of the park this time. Everything was so perfect, the food was delivered personally, HOT and FRESH! Our usual order was even better than the usual standards, everything had a little extra and we are so so happy that the Bistro is back to the high standards we enjoy so much. “A trip down memory lane to a beautiful spring day following a beautiful Bachata workshop hosted by factory international based in Manchester; led to an impromptu dinner at Suki Suki- famously known for their ramen! Lucky to be sat upstairs without a reservation, the interior of the restaurant carries a beautiful intimacy perfect for an escape from the bustle and hustle of the streets of deansgate. Opting to try other menu options, our table order included(from left to right): Yaki Udon with pork as the protein of choice 10/10- perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice and the pork was just perfect. Bang bang chicken served with the egg noodle was delightful, with the sweet and spicy blended and perfectly balanced. 10/10 Served with salt and pepper chips which you cannot go wrong with!also 10/10 The food was delicious, definitely a welcomed surprise as my sister and I were absolutely famished. The portions were large and perfect for sharing. Whether you are a solo diner, table for 2/4/6, it is modelled to accommodate any group size. Now, I would advise to book in advance if you want to be seated upstairs, the intimacy it offers is worth it. Will I be coming back to try more on the menu? Yes yes and yes! I appreciated how fast the service was considering it was a full room, the staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed! I haven’t got the receipt this time, but the prices for the quality served 100% worth it and cost about £37.29- this includes a glass of white wine. Also if you are like us and end up being full with some food left on your plate, don’t be shy to ask the staff for takeout! Enjoy.”

He cooks a Sunday roast that is nothing short of exceptional. And it’s not just the roast—every dish I’ve had here has been fantastic. You can tell there’s real passion behind every plate. I come here regularly, whether it’s for a meal, a drink with friends, or—let’s be honest—sometimes more than one drink! It’s always a great experience. This is the first time I’ve taken the time to write a review, not because I didn’t want to, but because I never felt the need—Long Bar speaks for itself. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge the people who put passion into what they do, and Chef Dave and the whole team here deserve all the recognition. As a proud Bramhall local and a small business owner myself, I believe in supporting our village’s businesses. Places like Long Bar make all the difference in creating a welcoming community. “The most beautiful restaurant. Sat outside on a lovely sunny day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I very rarely change where I eat an Italian as not many places do it perfectly but piccolo was recommended by the friend I visited with and it did not disappoint. Arancini was a delicious starter and I had the carbonara which was delicious. My friend had the lasagna which was very rich in flavour and delicious. Will definitely go again”

“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“Went here on a Saturday night for my husband's birthday. Overall, a lovely night and a very nice place to spend it. The staff were friendly and attentive and service was fast. I was a bit disappointed that there was only one choice of risotto, a vegetarian one, so I had that. Must say, it was delicious and lifted to a higher level by the side dish of stir fried chilli veg. We were a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meals, though the lobster ravioli was reported to be a bit bland. The staff made an effort to mark the birthday, even though we hadn't told them about it! We would definitely go back, as we had a most enjoyable, if slightly expensive evening.”

“My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner and we had the most wonderful evening! Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated immediately. For starters we had calamari, focaccia and olives - all were delicious! Our mains, the pizza and steak were equally yummy. The highlight of the evening for me was when the waiters brought out a cake and sang happy birthday. Thank you so much to all the staff- you were so friendly and professional, and you made my birthday very special. Grazie mille!”

“We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday and were greeted so warmly by the host/manager. We have been a few times to this restaurant and the bar staff recognised us which was so lovely, recognition from staff goes a long way and made us feel so warm and welcome! Drinks arrived so quickly and he even remembered what we had last time we visited which was incredible service from him. The cocktails didn’t disappoint. The service was unbelievable, at no point did we have to ask for drinks order or food order to be taken. They’re incredibly attentive here. The food is artwork, it is so fresh and home made which is exactly what you want in a lovely independent restaurant. The lighting was perfect and the music fitted the restaurant aesthetic and the time of day we arrived. I can’t fault this place whatsoever, can’t recommend it enough.”
