We went for a dove grey shaker and it looks classic and really neat. It has transformed the space. David and the fitter Matty has also been supberb.”

Whilst they only have one person on reception Liz she is worth her weight in gold! I’ve yet to see her not great anyone without a smile always so helpful as well as demonstrating a duty of care if like me you need help from time to time. “Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“My Jasper's groomer. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I trust her implicitly with him. I know he'll be groomed the correct way a Rough Collie should be groomed and not end up looking like another breed of dog! I see so many posts on FB from owners of Rough Collies who are bitterly disappointed when they fetch their dog from the groomer. I was fortunate in that Maxine was highly recommended by Jasper's breeder so it was a no-brainer that I chose her. I have to travel on 2 buses to get to her salon but that's no issue as Jasper loves travelling on the bus and the passengers always compliment his glorious coat.”

“Great size park with sheep all over it roaming free. Bonfire night is always good here and I believe fishing is good. You see plenty of rabbits and other animals. Would recommend for a short dog walk as it's laid out very well and is easy to follow. Plenty of bins aswell and benches”

“Support your local independent businesses! Edgeley is lucky to have a pet shop on the high street. I have bought plenty of cat toys here and they also do refills for biscuits which avoids plastic waste.”

“Lovely little flat. Easy access to local train station. We didn’t spend much time in the flat as out most of time and didn’t cook but kitchen looked functional. Quiet area. No noise at night. Attic flat with skylights so no views.”

“Very friendly, clean rooms, good TV channel selection. Cooked breakfast was decent. Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would absolutely recommend if you need to be in the area.”

The lady that served us knew the best Gecko for my 9 yr old granddaughter and let her hold them and choose one. She then advised my son, on everything he needed, nothing was too much trouble.
