“This is a new barbers near us and we went in to get a hair cut for our 2 yr old son. He has never been keen on haircuts before and we usually trim his hair at home because we had 2 meltdowns at others barbers before and we wanted to avoid that. Anyway this time we decided on a proper haircut and chose this place because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed. The place looks modern and well maintained. Not only was our son ok but he got a really good big boy haircut. The staff listened to what we wanted and also gave his suggestion which was helpful. He was really gentle while cutting his hair even when our son turned away his head now and then. We had no problems at all and our son was happy at the end because he got lollipops after that too. So overall would recommend this place for kids haircuts.”

Booking system is great and means you never have to wait, often walk straight to the chair. I usually call early morning and get an appointment the same morning or early afternoon. “This is one of the best pubs in the area. I have been going here on and off since way before it was renovated last time and Julie and her team work hard to make this a fun and welcoming place to go. There is no food but the cost of a pint is reasonable, has live music every weekend, has a small enclosed outdoor area and you are not constantly looking over your shoulder. How often do you hear the words “We have had to shut the front door as we are full” in pubs any more! Keep up the good work Julie.”
