“I've been going in this shop for years! Always feel welcome girls are lovley. Just recently had pasta salad box a sweet chilli chicken with mayo! It was so nice and filling, will definitely be buying again.”

“This place is lovely , my friend and I meet up about once a month and this is becoming our go to for a morning coffee and small bite to eat. It's clean and tidy and plenty of space to get between tables. The staff are all very pleasant and don't leave you hanging about for drinks and soon after comes the food. The poached eggs on toast was done to perfection and the iced coffee was lovely , my friend enjoyed her cheese crumpets too. Lovely place to go for a chat and catch up .”

“We love this little traditional tea room, Anna and Kath are 2 wonderful hostesses, I’m following slimming world and often have the home made soup , so many different ones and always delicious and filling , comes with a big chunk of thick bread , my husband will have one of the days special , chicken pie being his favourite, definitely our go to place in Bramhall X”

“This is my favourite Café. I always pop in for a breakfast/brunch when I'm in this area. I also love the Armenian dessert. Place is run by super kind and polite, and very professional people. Always smiled and happy to help. You can see how your food is made, as kitchen door are always open. It's always busy here but I've never waited for the food too long. Very tasty coffee. They also provide few toys for small children, so families are nicely welcome here. Prices are fair. I highly recommend that place for everyone, who values a good quality of food and expect a positive attitude from the staff. I've been here many times and for sure, I'll be coming back here soon.”

“Lovely food,I had the plater 4 1 delious humus and olives and the red cabbage salad is fab. My husband had a BIT he said it was the best he's ever had!. “Food is top notch and had a great meal. Walked in and kinda stood in the middle awkwardly waiting to been seen too, it looked like they were having issues with one of the machines, thought someone would have acknowledged us or asked if we wanted a seat (if someone said hi be with you in a second we won't of felt weird, like we were in the middle of their service). We approached one of the waitresses and asked if we can sit outside, found a space and was given a menu, asked if we wanted a drink straight away but said we needed time to review the menu as it was our first time here. Our waitress was very younger and honest with her description about the food. The menu sounded tasty and wanted to try it all, but settled for the eggs Benedict, my partner getting the salmon and I got the bacon. Ordered a passion fruit smoothie and a pineapple smoothie too, these came out very quickly and were very refreshing, the passion fruit was sweet and sharp and was a decent amount. We were told that my bacon dish would come out later as they ran out of supplies and asked if I was happy to wait and I agreed, 5minutes later both of our meals came out and looked fantastic! The garlic spinach was bang on, not over powering at all, the bacon was real bacon, tasted of good quality and decent amount and the eggs were a little over for my liking but tasty none the less. The potatoes were well seasoned and very crispy, enjoyed dipping into some ketchup. Fantastic meal and highly recommend it. My partners dish looks scrumptious too. After both finishing our meals, we were satisfied and happy with the meal we had just had but wanted a sweet treat. We ordered a plate of pancakes to share, best decision of the day. Three beautifully stack pillows with caramelised banana in-between with just the right amount of Nutella on.. the picture can not convey how tasty this was! Although we had a great experience here, some other patrons didn't, two people had a delay with their coffee which they made very clear to the rest of the diners, telling everyone how they had waited a long time as they left, turns out busy bees were having issues with the coffee machine and the diners were told, even given a brownie for the delay but still left disgruntled. Another table waited the entire length of our meal (two courses) to be served hers only to be packaged up for her to take away. Amazing to have something like this so close to us and can't wait to visit again, it is new and more can be done to refine the service making it more smooth and to help all patrons have the same experience but I'm really happy something like this is here (Perhaps giving roles or sections/tables to stop doubling up (one table was asked if the food was okay by three different waitresses)). Definitely coming back again for the food, well worth a visit!”

“Great cafe 10 minute drive from chill factore / Trafford centre. Small / medium sized cafe, no booking taken over the phone for breakfast, first come first served. We arrived @ 11am and it was very busy. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table but was absolutely worth it and staff where polite and kept us updated whilst we waited. Brunch menu served till 12.30 Cooked breakfast / loaded potato skins / smoked salmon & egg / pancakes etc…. Went for the big cooked breakfast which was truly superb. Hashbrowns i think are home made, and lovely, as re the Cumberland sausage etc. The whole thing was big and filling Would definitely recommend and will return again.”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Robina and John for always helping, making us laugh and generally being authentic people. You've created a great space!”

Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”

“What an amazing venue. We had an amazing night watching three grassroots artists who you can clearly see have been supported by the snug in Atherton. It’s venues like this that make a real difference to the grassroots music here in the UK and without them people would not be able to see the new up-and-coming artists. Ticket price was amazingly low for such great entertainment. Staff were amazing with great service and super friendly with the production staff going out of their way to make sure everything was set up perfect This venue is the heart and soul of grassroots music in Bolton, so give it all your support”

“A group of us visited Tortuga for a bottomless brunch for my dad’s birthday and had the best time! We ere served by Dion and other members of the team who were extremely accommodating to our requests and needs - nothing was too much hassle for them! This place had a nice local feel to it which is always important when supporting local businesses! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try :)”
