It was a really good experience. The place is like a dream come true. When you enter, you will think you have entered a castle. We never thought we would have this opportunity to work with such a wonderful playroom. Their food is amazing, and they put in full effort to make all the guests feel welcome and comfortable. “Food and Thorn Bistro, led by Nicky and her wonderful team, catered our end-of-year team lunch and delivered directly to our offices in Piccadilly, Manchester. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The quality of the food was fantastic, beautifully presented, incredibly flavourful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish not only tasted amazing but looked spectacular, taking our event to the next level and making it a truly special occasion. Nicky was an absolute delight to work with. Her professionalism, warm communication, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. The delivery and service were exceptional, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We will definitely be choosing the Food and Thorn team again in the future. “Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“Me and my partner are always here. Every time we come the food is lovely, the service is amazing, and we leave happy. Gluten free and veggie options are available and all of it is tasty! Perhaps I'm biased but I don't care, these guys are fantastic, such a kind and happy atmosphere.”

“Great space to sit down and do a bit of reading/writing. Cheap as chips - hot chocolate for just £1.30!! Came with complementary chocolate (not found in the picture because I scranned it). Cream and marshmallows cost no extra - a welcome change from larger chain cafés Staff are lovely - seems to be run by Wonder Woman with a smile, and her band of merry lasses. Delightful pink and green interior (avant garde) Cleanliness without fault. Overall a surprise to find today, nestled near what could historically be considered a "rough" part of Blackley, but you wouldn't think it with the lovely hospitality. I expect this business to go far. Keep up the cracking work ladies.”

“I’ve been going to Roma since 1999. That makes me feel oldddd, but other than the building becoming a part of Morrisons all those years ago, nothing else has changed. That’s a great thing. Superb coffee, great service, lovely staff, high quality deli produce and products, and the Tonno Bianco pizza is still my favourite pizza of all time. I’d always highly recommend this fantastic deli/cafe”

“Fantastic food in the most unassuming place and location. The whole experience was smooth and food wasn't too spicy. What they have classed as 3 peppers out of 5 - I found rather mild. Really like the medium of building your own custom plate. It's a novelty, but very refreshing idea and gives you opportunity to taste a few things at once without spending crazy money on a single meal.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“As a family tradition we go out for breakfast on the morning of a holiday. We tried this cafe as the reviews were very positive and my wife had heard about it through a work colleague. The staff were very welcoming. There were a few regulars in who made the place seem very community focussed, more friends than customers. The food was really good freshly prepped after we ordered. When I mentioned where we going on holiday the lady who served us explained she was from that same area originally and advised us of things to look out for. Can't fault it. We will visit again definitely.”

“This is a lovely little cafe on Pepper Road Industrial Estate and you can takeaway. I had a mango and berry smoothie and a sweet chilli and cheese panini. Both were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.”
