“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

“Amazing. Every time I’m in Manchester I come here. Food is always flavourful, curries and sauces are to die for and I’ve never been dissatisfied. Bread is the perfect texture and has a fantastic fermented flavour :) Price is just right for what you’re getting and the portions are great! Highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried Ethiopian or to anyone who’s looking for it in Manchester. Very very good eat Make sure you have an Ethiopian beer and a cinnamon tea at the end, it is really worth it!”

They do have outdoor seating which will be good for wheelchair and pram user's and the have toilets as well. You must try this vegetarian place. I will definitely be returning.”

So polite, attentive and to be honest the best restaurant service I've had in a while! “Was excited to visit Hea as I'd seen it last time I went to Prestwich but had already eaten at the makers market. We finally went on the weekend and it didn't disappoint! It's a small cafe so you might not find a seat quickly as when we went it was busy, but luckily the table in the window was available. There's lots to choose from on the menu such as Hong Kong style sandwiches, toast, and street food, as well as Hong Kong tea, coffee and bubble tea (but there are also normal teas and coffees). We ordered the ham and egg sandwich, satay steak sandwich and pistachio toast. Unfortunately some of the wraps are limited to summer months but we hope to try those next time. The wait was a bit long as it was busy, but it was worth the wait!! All very tasty and reasonably priced, especially if you go for the set menu. I definitely want to come back and try everything else!”
