“My wife and I took our girls to celebrate booking a holiday in the U.S. The food was great. "Nicely American" for want of a better phrase. Tasty and reasonable price. The place was very busy (and so quite noisy, hence only 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere). But the team were on top of it with not long to wait for food. Great job. Our 'server', Savannah, was brilliant. So friendly, helpful and polite. Very attentive without smothering us. I noticed every time she passed our table she had a quick look to see if drinks needed refreshing, where we were at with food, etc. She (like the rest of the staff) were working really hard. Really enjoyed it and great food with great service made me want to go back again soon. Thanks!”

“Best brunch in Town. My husband and I are regular customers and always enjoyed the food and service here. Highly recommended my favourite - crispy tofu vegetarian breakfast and the Korean style boneless chicken thighs. Lovely and homely small café with hearty food.”

“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“Absolute gem of a place. Stumbled across it whilst looking for some chips for my son after visiting the nearby park. The place was really cosy and staff very friendly. I can't believe how cheap the prices are. Portion size was huge. Food was fresh, tasty and hot. Had a lovely fireplace and toys for children to play with. I ordered for takeout but you can dine in.”

“Fantastic food in the most unassuming place and location. The whole experience was smooth and food wasn't too spicy. What they have classed as 3 peppers out of 5 - I found rather mild. Really like the medium of building your own custom plate. It's a novelty, but very refreshing idea and gives you opportunity to taste a few things at once without spending crazy money on a single meal.”

Had a great breakfast, took part in a 77th birthday party of a regular and then had a laugh with the owner. worth visiting for the food that they take pride in making, and the atmosphere of a family owned business. thank you for the welcome when I needed a chat.”

“The Cocoa Tree Chorlton has moved from next door to Oxfam to opposite Chorlton Post Office and I had the most out-of-this-world chocolate experience I have ever had, here recently. I visited with a friend, whom I was buying coffee & cake for. I ordered a dark hot chocolate with raspberry sauce (albeit tasting gorgeously like melted Turkish Delight) and a warm chocolate brownie. The drink was very hot, which makes a change from so many hot chocolates in oh so many other café bars and it retained its heat to the very last mouthful, possibly as a result of the added sauce. The brownie cake was also delicious. To top off the experience, the shop owner presented us with a couple of handmade chocolates. I can't speak for my friend, but I popped mine in my mouth for an explosion of chewy, but melt-in-the-mouth mintiness. The overall cost for two people was a bit pricier that I might've paid in most other coffee/chocolate shops, but for the tastes and the hot chocolate remaining hot till the end, I think I would have been surprised had it been any less expensive. I imagine I will be bringing friends here for a treat, for many years to come. I highly recommend this shop!”

“I popped into one Thirty this Morning for a G.F. Breakfast. Unfortunately no G.F. Sausages. But I recieved plenty of Bacon to compensate. Lovely young Lady served me, very accommodating. Next Time I'll go for the "Big Breakfast" as G.F. bread are Tiny Slices. I checked out the "Breakfast box" in the Reviews it Looked BAZZIN. Overall a Very Pleasant experience ☺ The Young lady even worked out my Bill so it came back Cheaper. Bargain.”

“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“This is the best breakfast I've had in years. We had the large breakfast and couldn't manage it all. Everything is cooked to order, it's hot and fresh, and just a few steps better quality than almost everywhere else we have stopped for breakfast. This was exceptional and I won't hesitate to recommend Cafe Se7en. We will definitely be back.”
