“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“Ordered tonight and they didnt get the pizza toppings correct, a quick call to the restaurant and they had us a replacement pizza out and it was with us within 20 minutes. Great service here with no fuss or arguing. Perfect service given to fix a small problem. 10/10 would order again just for the fact they took ownership of their mistake and fixed the issue.”

“Such a cute place to stop for a rest and get a great iced latte! The cake is pre prepared, I’ve had a few different ones and some have been fresh and great, the others have been a little on the stale side, but still enjoyable. The bacon rolls are yummy!”

“I had many of my friends recommending this place, and when we finally tried it for my birthday - it exceeded all expectations! The service was amazing, very helpful and welcoming. The food was unreal, very unique menu with lots of things to try. We tried a fair few dishes as recommended and I’m still thinking about their pastas dishes. “Great little wine shop and bar with inside and outside seating. Wide choice of wines and other drinks in the bar as well as cheese/charcuterie platters. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Particularly recommend wine flight Wednesday: three small (70ml) glasses of wine for a reasonable price!”

“Nipped into this café today to grab a bite to eat and waste an hour. Had a great breakfast, took part in a 77th birthday party of a regular and then had a laugh with the owner. worth visiting for the food that they take pride in making, and the atmosphere of a family owned business. thank you for the welcome when I needed a chat.”

“The Cocoa Tree Chorlton has moved from next door to Oxfam to opposite Chorlton Post Office and I had the most out-of-this-world chocolate experience I have ever had, here recently. I visited with a friend, whom I was buying coffee & cake for. I ordered a dark hot chocolate with raspberry sauce (albeit tasting gorgeously like melted Turkish Delight) and a warm chocolate brownie. The drink was very hot, which makes a change from so many hot chocolates in oh so many other café bars and it retained its heat to the very last mouthful, possibly as a result of the added sauce. The brownie cake was also delicious. To top off the experience, the shop owner presented us with a couple of handmade chocolates. I can't speak for my friend, but I popped mine in my mouth for an explosion of chewy, but melt-in-the-mouth mintiness. The overall cost for two people was a bit pricier that I might've paid in most other coffee/chocolate shops, but for the tastes and the hot chocolate remaining hot till the end, I think I would have been surprised had it been any less expensive. I imagine I will be bringing friends here for a treat, for many years to come. I highly recommend this shop!”

“I popped into one Thirty this Morning for a G.F. Breakfast. Unfortunately no G.F. Sausages. But I recieved plenty of Bacon to compensate. Lovely young Lady served me, very accommodating. Next Time I'll go for the "Big Breakfast" as G.F. bread are Tiny Slices. I checked out the "Breakfast box" in the Reviews it Looked BAZZIN. Overall a Very Pleasant experience ☺ The Young lady even worked out my Bill so it came back Cheaper. Bargain.”

“Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”

“Wonderful coffee, comfortable and inviting surroundings and friendly staff. I could tell that many customers were regulars even though it was my first visit. Lots of board games, which I see from other reviews is a Thing here. I'll definitely be coming back.”

“A rare gem of a B&B! Firstly, driving into Hayfield offers some fantastic views of the Peak District. Millie's is conveniently located right in the centre with plenty of parking outside and around that is free. We never struggled to find a space. Rukiya is very welcoming and kept in touch leading up to our visit and on the day of with lots of useful information and to keep in communication with us. She was there to greet us at the door and showed us to our room - Twenty Trees. The room was lovingly decorated with a cute view of the trail leading to Kinder Scout over the top of some roofs. Millie's is ideally located for many things. There is Sett Valley Trail conveniently located a stones throw away as well as the Kinder Scout trail. We also travelled 20mins and visited Castleton for the Speedwell Cavern (really cool) and Mam Tor hike. Lyme Park is not far either and there's also Buxton and Bakewell. Rukiya is by far my favourite ever host at a B&B - I have stayed at a fair few! She really loves what she does and that passion shines through. Her breakfast dishes were all freshly made and so delicious as well as the coffee and sweet treats. The sausages were divine. We also bought some chocolates to take home and try. Thank you Rukiya for your outstanding service. We're now planning to return soon for afternoon tea with family so we can try all of her delicious bakes too! This has to be booked in advance though so bare that in mind. She's constantly booked up for the B&B so I advise you book early to avoid disappointment and direct for the best prices. The tea room is only open on the weekends. During the weekday, Rukiya has breakfast service for B&B guests only. She can also make sandwiches for packed lunch for hikes with prior notice. Can't wait to visit again and also congratulations on being the only halal B&B in the whole of the Peak District. Millie's is welcoming to everyone. The outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and I'm so glad I have finally visited after waiting 3 whole years!”

“Did a quick Google search and this place was about 5 miles from where I was , plenty of places local to where I was, searched for brunch, I wasn't disappointed, everything was superb, the breakfast was excellent, all quality stuff, place is bright and airy, service was second to none, nothing too much trouble, staff are brilliant, just the right level of service, will definitely be looking forward to a second visit when I'm passing this way again, *****”
