“What an amazing venue this is, recently moved from another location, there's an incline up to the front door but NO steps. I will definatley be going again, my initial thoughts were that you had to book a meal or a show to go in, but NO you can just go in for drinks like any other bar. There's big screens showing current sports events and if there's an evening performer on there are soundproof doors separating the 2 rooms. Great for a night out keep a look out on Facebook or Skiddle (event ticket app) for upcoming shows. We saw an ABBA tribute act and they were brilliant. There's plenty of seats. When you book your tickets you get a table all with a great view. A waitress will come round to take any drinks orders and pay by card so you won't miss any of the show either. Everywhere is spotless, there's plenty of places for a photo op, there's even a photo booth downstairs near the loos. And all the staff were lovely too.”

“Really lovely place with great food! My husband order a burger and I ordered a burrito. Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. If there's an improvement maybe it would be nice to have a spiced rice instead of plain rice for the burrito as it watered down the taste but overall, we enjoyed the food. Husband said it was probably the best burger that he had in Manchester! The fries that we had was amazing too! We'd love to be back and try the other stuff in their menu.”

“We’ve been looking for a Chinese takeaway to call our favourite and not had much luck with the ones local to us. Found Golden Crown based on a friends recommendation and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite! Bit of a drive but well worth it. We tried the combo for 2 and everything was amazing especially the crispy chicken in OK sauce. 10/10!!”

“Just had the most amazing meal here! From start to finish, you felt very well looked after! The Pizza was probably the best I've had in a long time! My wife enjoyed the lasagne. “The best Sunday roast lunch in the Prestwich area? I think so! We came randomly as we were looking to walk in the forest nearby, and were hugely surprised by the quality of the lunch - for £28 it was three courses (we had halloumi fries for starter, turkey with stuffing, and a sundae for dessert) and it was excellent. The Sunday roast comes in a fun tapas style, and the sides were really really good, especially the rich cauliflower cheese and the crispy potatoes. The gravy with the turkey was also delicious. Everything we had was great, and so was the service. Well we'll worth a visit, and looking forward to trying the weekday menu at a later date. A real hidden gem for the Prestwich area.”
