“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Robina and John for always helping, making us laugh and generally being authentic people. You've created a great space!”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“Really lovely pub and friendly, helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. We came in soaking wet after a football game, and the guy behind the bar was extremely welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at ease and welcome and acted in a friendly, professional manner. We’ll be stopping here every time we’re nearby now. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”

“The Young lady that helped me sort the trainers out for my son Friday 23rd of August 2024 was the only member of staff that seemed to be working, The shop was empty of staff except for Her, She went off like a shot and got the size I needed and made a fantastic suggestion to help make the trainers last longer. I hope this young lady gets the praise she deserves. She made the hole experience so much easier for me. I won't be going anywhere else for trainers for me or my boys. Thank you JD Altrincham and the big thankyou to the young lady that helped me. Did make me laugh that she though I had size 7 feet when I'm 6ft 4" and size 14 feet bless her.”

“Our kitten Louie has stayed here twice now with a third time booked in. The owner Heidi is so lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating and takes such good care of all the animals! The pens are very spacious and have lots of toys to keep them entertained. We know he’s in safe hands and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!”
