“We visited last weekend with family and friends for a birthday meal and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed – and that was entirely thanks to our waitress Nicole( I believe that was her name). She greeted us with the kind of warm, natural smile that instantly makes you feel like you’ve chosen the right place for dinner. Nicole’s service was impeccable from start to finish. She struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering, somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Water glasses never dipped below half, orders were double-checked for accuracy. What impressed me most was Nicole’s genuine enthusiasm for the menu. She offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and described each dish with detail – and she was spot-on every time. It’s clear she knows and loves the food here, and that passion is contagious. Beyond the technical side of service, Nicole made the evening memorable with her personable nature. She engaged with us in a way that felt friendly and sincere, not scripted. By the end of the night, we felt less like customers and more like welcomed guests. If you visit, you’re in for a treat no matter what you order – but if you’re lucky enough to have Nicole as your server, you’re guaranteed a truly exceptional dining experience. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for her by name.”

“We had a dinner at this restaurant. It was a delicious meal and a very pleasant evening. The service was fabulous and the atmosphere was very relaxing, all the guests around us looked happy. The restaurant was well designed, very cosy and elegant. All the dishes were beautifully served and delicious. We were even offered a freebie, appetiser, before our meals. We were very pleased that we found this restaurant and definitely would recommend it. I also liked very much Black Sheep Ale.”

“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

“I recently held my 60th birthday celebrations at Llieno's. The room is a perfect size for a party up to 60 guests, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, in fact they went above and beyond in ensuring everything went to plan including decorating the room and ensuring a variety of different drinks were on offer to suit my guests. We also used the buffet provided by Llieno's which was good. I would not hesitate in 100% recommending this venue for a hassle free, wonderful event.”

It's literally a pleasant 5-minute stroll from there, and you'll work up just enough appetite for what's coming. Our waiter was an absolute legend - had us laughing while being completely on the ball with service. You know when someone's genuinely enjoying their job? That was this guy. Went for the tonno pizza (because who doesn't love a good tuna pizza?) paired with an alcohol-free Peroni - surprisingly decent! Couldn't resist the tiramisu to finish, and honestly, no regrets there whatsoever. The place itself is lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, and the whole team clearly knows what they're doing. It's got that perfect chilled vibe where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over the noise. Perfect spot for a relaxed lunch - we'll definitely be making this a regular haunt! “Me and my friend love Chinese takeaway and we decided to try that place and honest to god it was so good. We had a create your own noodle box and honestly didn’t disappoint. My friend was so shocked and now every time I see her we always go there to eat. The service is amazing! You can watch them make the food and the drinks there are very cheap. Whenever I eat there I always walk out looking very happy. Best noodle & sushi place ever! If you’re a sushi or ramen/ noodle lover I would definitely recommend going there. The photo of my ramen should be there. PLEASE GO!!”

“Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

We kicked things off with the starter platter, and honestly? Every single item stole a tiny piece of my heart. Fresh, bold, nothing hanging around in the kitchen too long—the dishes landed on our table quicker than my nephew spots Pidgey (my pet pigeon) on the bannister. Then came the lamb shank… unbelievably tender. It didn’t just “fall off the bone”—it practically handed in its resignation. Silky, rich, and cooked with the sort of patience I wish my smart meter had. My wife’s dishes were just as impressive. Every bite looked like it transported her somewhere peaceful—meat and chicken both juicy enough to make you rethink every dry dish you’ve ever tolerated in life. I didn’t manage to grab photos of everyone else’s food, but trust me, the table was full of happy faces and clean plates. If you’re thinking about coming here for dinner, do it. The food’s on point, the service feels natural, and the décor gives the place a warm, modern charm. Fully recommend.”

“Tried the chicken steak and a pizza today. The steak was perfectly cooked and juicy. The pizza dough was out of the world and it was perfectly baked without burning the vegetables on the top which usually is the case with most places.”
