“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“Kim is just amazing at what she does, I get my Botox, lips and threads done by her and always feel totally relaxed she explains everything so through before anything. She is so gentle and honestly can say I don’t feel a thing ever, wouldn’t go to anyone else now Iv found Kim! “Wow. What a fabulous meal that covered a group of people with an assortment of allergies. Never have been able to go to a restaurant and know that all their food was egg free and nut free. There was a great selection of gluten-free food too. The food was cooked to perfection, the taste, there aren’t sufficient words to describe how good it was. Would we go again? Absolutely. I have already recommended it to 2 people this morning and it’s only 10am.”

“I have been going to Raheala for over six months for laser hair removal and facials. Extremely happy with outcome of treatments. Would highly recommend the high frequency facials if you have stubborn reoccurring acne or just want a fresh glow, they really work. Raheala is so lovely and professional, 10/10”

“What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. All round good eggs with a cracking atmosphere.”

“We went on Saturday night to try the dinner menu and ordered a set of small plates. They were all excellent. I don’t even know which one was my favourite! But the tuna tartar, pea risotto, tempura, and the lemon sole were absolutely amazing. Do not miss the orange flavoured white wine from Mendoza Argentina. It significantly enhanced our experiences, highly recommended! The service was attentive, knowledgeable abs kind. The atmosphere also provided a relax and mellow environment. The music played was also the right volume (hate it when some places are so loud you just want to leave!) We will definitely be back very soon.”

“I would 100% recommend this curry takeaway. The service is always really friendly and the food is lovely! If you have any dietary requirements, you can just call and they are always super helpful with telling you what is vegan/vegetarian etc. Really reasonable prices and a treat that we look forward to, especially on a Saturday night in!”

“My 11 year old daughter saw Jonathan Lee twice this week for a number of teeth to be removed, for a brace in the future. She was extremely nervous and Jonathan and his nurse put her at ease from the moment we arrived. The entire process went so well, so much so that she was unaware that the teeth had even been removed! “Conveyancing, House purchase, House selling. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Denise Prescott who dealt with us in the conveyancing process whilst selling a property. We have never had to chase her to do anything and she has always responded very quickly to everything. Something a lot of her colleagues in the legal profession could learn from her. In some ways it is a pity that this is the last of our buy to let properties. If we had more we would certainly have asked her to act on our behalf again when selling. Having bought and sold a few properties over the years I can honestly say this is the best service from the legal profession I have ever received. I have no hesitation in recommending Denise and giving her a five star rating.”

I can’t carry a hoover up and down my stairs so it’s amazing that they bring all their own equipment and cleaning products, which saves money anyway so it’s a no brained for me! I’m only sorry I didn’t have cleaners years ago. Just amazing”
