“I’ve been attending Jerry and Yuta’s bachata class on Tuesdays for 6 months, I would like to continue dancing with them but have to stop due to personal reasons. They are definitely my favorite bachata teachers in Manchester, professional, caring and funny, never felt bored or left behind in their classes, also they organize events with some interesting themes every now and then, such as, Hawaii party, back to school party, etc. If you’re a bachata/ salsa dance lover, and got a chance to visit Manchester, don’t miss their classes.”

“Amazing place! Completely in love with the atmosphere, instructors and classes! They make you welcome, make you laugh, you end up being part of a massive family. It's not a dance school, it's a community. Classes are catered for all abilities so even if you think you can't dance, they'll teach you step by step with patience and a good enough pace, you just need to commit to it. You'll make new friends and have loads of great time. You dont need to worry you don't have a partner as you'll dance with everyone in your class!!”

“Alice has been attending dance studio 1 since 2 1/2 years old and is now 15 She went in as a shy toddler and her confidence has grown immensely. She's done numerous exams in ballet,tap and theatre craft. Every 2 years she's taken part in a stage performance open to the public to watch. Since starting high school she’s become a studio assistant. Helping out with all the younger ones. Because of this Alice had just received a recognition at St Monica's for her dancing and kindness in helping others.Her dancing helped her through the pandemic as it continued throughout on zoom. I cant believe how much Alice has progressed since the beginning. It's not just dancing anymore it's literally her second family. Alice is in her GCSE year at school and dancing is her release for when revising gets tough. Exercise is so important to enable a healthy mind which helps with revision. “A fantastic dance school. My daughter has attended classes here for about 14 years! Started as a toddler in a pink frilly tutu! The dance teacher Lesley is lovely and patiently teaches all the children from toddlers to teens and runs adult classes for fitness as well. It’s very much a calm and no pressure environment. Affordable. There is the opportunity to achieve dance grades with certificates, medals and trophies. There is a dance show to take part in each year which again is fun with no pressure on the children and also costumes and tickets etc are much more affordable than other places. My daughter has loads of hobbies and interests but this is the longest lasting …. I think Lesley also provides her with a safe place to talk about her stressful life issues…..even more important in the teenage years! I’ve met lots of other lovely mums throughout the years too!”

“My daughter loves it here. She has been going for nearly 7 years and has gained so much confidence in that time. She has also made lifelong friendships. The yearly show is fantastic when the kids get to showcase all their hard work. I as a parent also like the fact Singletons hold yearly IDTA examinations which is a widely recognised dance exam board. My daughter is nearly 15 now and hasn’t shown any signs of wanting to quit her dancing!”
