“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“Always have a laugh in here with the family serving. Convenient with good stock and decent prices for a local store. Usually just buy my milk and the odd chocolate fix but essentials there too and open when they say they will be. Would love it if they started doing more services like evri and yodel but have recently got an inpost outside so that’s a start :)”

“My food arrived early and piping hot. The delivery man was so polite. I live in flats and had come downstairs to collect, he told me next time I don't need to come down and he would bring it to my door which I thought was lovely. I love the food from here, always full of flavour and tasty. The portions are really big too. If your looking for great food then I would definitely recommend. Thanks jade garden. “Without doubt the best Indian takeaway I've ever had. The paneer tikka and accompanying peppers and onions had a beautiful tandoor flavour. I'm also in love with the Old Delhi Style Butter chicken - the chicken is so tender and the sauce is absolutely addictive. Really soft and flavourful naan as well.”

“My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”

“Lovely food, especially the mixed kebab on naan which was very tasty and good portion size. Ordered 12 inch pizza which was soooo good, love a spicy pizza. Very reasonable prices. Also was surprised at how nice the cookie dough was, probably the best I've had in Eccles. Very nice staff, always on hand to help.”

“Went today for late breakfast, was delicious. A bit time waiting, busy but staff was amazing and friendly. Didn't catch up any names, but all need a big pay rise working really hard in the kitchen and cleaning tables. “Had the King Kebab. Wonderful. Could easily feed 4 or 5. Everything was so fresh and tasty and it even had Onion Bhajis and roasted peppers on a bed of chips and naan bread. Their own chilli sauce had a real kick and it came with a separate salad, and sauces. Delivery was quick and guy was very pleasant. Recommend for a great treat.”
