“This establishment is an ABSOLUTE diamond in terms of food quality and staff. I have to say, this place serves the BEST bacon sandwich ever. Beautiful thick sliced doorstop bread, top quality bacon cooked to exactly how you like it, perfect crispy. Brown sauce. Their coffee is really really really good!! “I popped into one Thirty this Morning for a G.F. Breakfast. Unfortunately no G.F. Sausages. But I recieved plenty of Bacon to compensate. Lovely young Lady served me, very accommodating. Next Time I'll go for the "Big Breakfast" as G.F. bread are Tiny Slices. I checked out the "Breakfast box" in the Reviews it Looked BAZZIN. Overall a Very Pleasant experience ☺ The Young lady even worked out my Bill so it came back Cheaper. Bargain.”

“Absolutely amazing service received today. I was amazed at the amount of food and the food its self was fabulous. We all left full and wanting to return again soon. There was four of us in our party , booked in yesterday and each and everyone of us had amazing meals. So reasonable and they even finished off surprising me with a special birthday dessert. Thank you so much , what a great team, lovely atmosphere. I will be recommending highly and of course visit g again. Keep doing what you’re doing.”

“My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

“I have not been to the March Hare in a while due to the last few visits being very disappointing . Todays vidit has definitely changed my opion. We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”

“The Hesketh is hands down the best place for a Sunday roast! I had the chicken roast and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy that tied everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation spot on, and the flavours reminded me of a proper homemade Sunday dinner, only better! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear the team really take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast in the area, The Hesketh is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next week !”
