“Visited on a Monday evening and just want a quick bite to eat when we discovered Dino's. The food, service and overall standard was amazing! Very generous portion sizes which are a bonus when the quality of the food is this good. “My partner and I had a great time at the Station Bar watching 6nations game on Sunday. All the ladies working were welcoming and friendly. It was moderately busy and the vibe was relaxed. There seemed to be a good number of regulars enjoying either the rugby, the footie or a good chat. Most importantly, Guinness was spot on!”

“Veterans Breakfast club every Monday. Great place to pull up a sandbag and have a good old chat. Anita, Steve,Alan & Julie the fantastic 4 . Alan & Steve take your order then then even bring g it to you after Anita & Julie have worked relentlessly in the kitchen smashing out Breakfast after breakfast. All you do is sit back and drink as much tea & coffee as you can and put the world to rights. 9.30 - 11.30. The only rules are you need to book in advance so they have an idea of how much food they are going to need.”

“I Met Kerry on Sunday and Michelle on Monday at the club which is completely different now it is under new management and Kerry seems to be doing a superb job. A great atmosphere considering it was a Sunday evening but lovely like-minded strangers making friends and enjoying each others company. Monday evening was quieter but still a great way to relax after a difficult day. I will be back I will be back”

“Great home-cooked Nigerian and Caribbean food with warm service at very reasonable prices. I had plantain for the first time and absolutely loved it. The curry goat and pepper soup were amazing too. I'll definitely be back for the jerk chicken: the fellow on the next table had it and it looked delicious.”

“Pol Mart is a Polish mini market and it's very accessible, just wish I understood the language. I go in quite regularly. The staff that can't speak English are just as helpful as those who can. They sell a lot of different cooked meats and cooked fish. I buy whole smoked Mackerel, kabanos and other items.They even have a small oven and they bake small white buns. There is a wide variety of Polish breads,Rye, blackbread etc. For the more self indulgent they have a variety of stunning cakes, fresh vegetables and the biggest Garlic bulbs I've ever bought,twice the size of supermarket variety. I love this store and there are many products I can't tell what they are but staff will willingly help and explain. Every visit is an adventure, highly recommended if you want to get away from mass produced foods in the local supermarkets.”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“Always have a laugh in here with the family serving. Convenient with good stock and decent prices for a local store. Usually just buy my milk and the odd chocolate fix but essentials there too and open when they say they will be. Would love it if they started doing more services like evri and yodel but have recently got an inpost outside so that’s a start :)”

“Lovely food, especially the mixed kebab on naan which was very tasty and good portion size. Ordered 12 inch pizza which was soooo good, love a spicy pizza. Very reasonable prices. Also was surprised at how nice the cookie dough was, probably the best I've had in Eccles. Very nice staff, always on hand to help.”

“Landlady is lovely and friendly. My dog is allowed in if it’s quiet which is nice of them. (Ask first if you are bringing your dog!!). Beers are cold. Jukebox is excellent. Prefer it to Wetherspoons by a lot.”
