The food is consistently delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and both the team and management regularly check in to make sure you’re looked after. Every visit feels like a big family reunion — the atmosphere is always welcoming and full of good energy. Whether we pop in during a walk just for a drink, or bring family and friends who are visiting, it’s always our special go-to place. Everyone we take there ends up loving the experience and the food just as much as we do. The staff always take great care of us, and the manager often stops by our table with something new we have to try. I would highly recommend Puss in Boots to anyone in the Stockport area. The atmosphere truly makes you feel at home, and whoever you take there will leave with positive energy and appreciation for the warm interior and amazing service.”

“Wanted to say thanks to the guy that helped us out, unfortunately didn't get his name but he was beyond helpful we visited 3 times on Sunday to help fix a toilet cistern leak, his advice was 10/10 being a plumber himself. The staff at the store are brilliant!”

“We've done Hannah's Bloom classes both at Gatley and Cheadle Heath. The classes are entertaining and support little ones' development but Hannah really is the star of the show. My daughter is captivated by her, and she knows all the babies by name. She creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere and after a tricky start with numerous health problems, she helped make my first venture out of the house with my baby a really positive one. I go back to work soon and I'm gutted that I will miss our weekly classes.”

“Nice space, very generous helpings and a sugar rush that will smack you in the face with awesome. The staff are friendly and there's even a place where you can get some water for free because the sugar is getting a bit too much. Definitely a place for dessert loving folk - there's a lot of choice and everything looked awesome. My photo is of a cookie dough dessert.”

“Drinks Allowed is an handy shop to have locally, wether you want treats for the kids or stocking up for a party ,or just staying in, you will find all big brands as well as discounted drinks, all at good prices, a lot of the bottles and cans are in the chillers so ideal when its a warm day, and they also stock milk if you fancy a brew, so all in all its a handy shop to have”

“I popped into Coffee Block for a quick brew and a teacake, and it absolutely made my morning. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and cheerful — she greeted every person who walked in with a big smile and genuine warmth. It was lovely to see how she chatted with the regulars, taking the time to ask about their day. The atmosphere felt so positive and welcoming, and the coffee was spot on. A lovely place all round, and I’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“As has been mentioned, definitely not your typical Bargain Booze. As well as your standard lagers, wines etc there is a seemingly inexhaustible supply of craft beers, with no shortage of local breweries represented. Following the refurbishment, and with growler takeaways imminent, this place isn't resting on its laurels either.”

“Friendly staff and a great range of interesting drinks, particularly ales. Decent selection of gins, including Forest Gin at a fair price (a particular favourite of mine which isn't always easy to get hold of). A good place for buying gifts for anybody who likes booze.”

“My friend and I took our 6 year old daughters to the Funky Monkey Christmas party yesterday and what an absolute blast we had! There were fun games and prizes for the kids, plenty of choice from the menu for the kids to choose from and they even got to meet Santa and get a special gift! Our girls absolutely loved their time, and us mums and dads had so much fun too. We even won a prize as adults and can’t wait to have our beautiful Christmas cupcakes!! The staff are wonderful here, and you’re literally made to feel part of the Funky Monkey family from the moment you step in the door! Our food was delicious - we would particularly rate the latte and the banana and toffee muffin and I am looking forward to coming back to try even more from the menu. Thank you so so much to the team for hosting such a fun event last night, you could tell a lot of heart and hard work went into this and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We really hope you’ll host this again next year and in the meantime we will definitely be back for more tea, coffee and treats! Merry Christmas to you all!”
