“Returned today to buy a marbled topped side table, the young man who served us had been extremely helpful. We bought a console a couple of weeks before and wanted a side table to match. He phoned around branches to locate one and also ordered another one from the warehouse so we could choose, as the marble tops were quite different. He was so courteous and extremely patient and a credit to your company.”

“I popped into Pizza Magic in Stockport to grab some pizzas for the family as I was visiting the area. The owner is so friendly and the pizzas are so tasty. He has a 5 star food hygiene rating (the shop was very tidy and well presented) and the food is epic! I will definitely go out of my way to go back. Keep up the great work.”

“What an addition to Stockport! I went for dinner with a friend last night and Winters didn’t disappoint. Everything about the evening was great. The building is lovely. The food was really tasty and was served very promptly and piping hot. The things that really stood out was how reasonably priced it was and the service which was impeccable. “Family meal for a group of 8. Staff were very welcoming and the place looks great. I was initially a bit concerned as not many people were present….but this soon changed Staff were great, welcoming and very attentive….informed food was halal Food was served pretty quickly…..garlic butter prawns are a must for starters….the butter was amazing….lamb shank was great and the mixed grill was good too…..great classy venue …you won’t be disappointed”

“Friday night karaoke for a friend's 40th. Reasonable range of Robinson's ales and standard pub lagers. The atmosphere was excellent. A friendly, warm and well behaved crowd. Comfortable and welcoming.”

“What a beautiful pub!! We first discovered stockport for afternoon drinking ( before lockdown) from a trip out with our local historian and Sentinel writer Mervyn Edwards.. we fell in love with the preserved Victorian history and friendly locals...since then we travel from stoke and stay over regularly. This visit I particularly wanted to discover the Star and Garter. Stunning building...on entrance we were warmly welcomed by barman Craig.. it was fascinating to learn about the pubs history and Craig's family working within the pub trade for generations. Of course we enjoyed Robinsons Iron Maiden bitter.. a perfect pint..a creamy head all the way down the glass! A cash only pub... my husband always supports Cash is King ! A lovely traditional friendly local pub.. we'll definitely visit again.”

“Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”
