“Very good dental surgery with excellent dentist. Lots of additional treatments available and packages for these. Only down side is the steep stairs, to one of the treatment rooms other than that everything is great. Very efficient and effective online booking system too.”

“Went to the dentist for the first time in 6 years today due to a crippling fear of going. I have to say that this is the best experience of a dentist that I’ve ever had! Aleedin was so so reassuring and friendly, didn’t make me feel ashamed or embarrassed at all and was so gentle. He didn’t do any more work than I needed at the time to get me used to going to the dentist again. Even the injections didn’t hurt too much. The nurse in there was equally as friendly and walked me through calming down whilst they cleaned my teeth. Can’t promise I won’t be scared next time, but my fear will definitely disappear over time with this dentist. I honestly can’t thank you enough! This was all on a Saturday as well when everyone wants to go home.”

“Recently finished 10 months of Clear Correct Teeth Straightening, plus the Teeth Whitening and couldn’t be happier! Dr Lin and her team were amazing throughout. My teeth were always something I was self-conscious of, but now they’re straight, white and Dr Lin even filled in the little Gaps/Chips making them perfect. I would highly recommend this treatment and this Dentist Practice for anyone wanting a natural smile.”

The receptionist is lovely as is the dentist I see, Dr Wong, the assistants are amazing too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a competent and compassionate dental practice.”

“Just picked our black labrador Luna up from Mike and the girls and it's honestly the first time she hasn't wanted to come home. She has absolutely loved every second of it there, Mike sent me numerous photos throughout our week long holiday, which really put our mind at ease. “Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that. “Small but packs a punch. Only a small cafe but the welcoming was lovely, service was very attentive. We went for breakfast, the menu had a great choice of healthy and the usuals. We had a bit of both. Freshest ingredients used and looks like locally sourced, where that could be achieved. The food was hot, tasty, and well priced. The atmosphere seems busy with all the plants but I get that the view outside isn't the greatest. Could look smart with different table surfaces/covers. Don't let the location put you off as this is a little gem for food and service.”

“The dentist Shumaila Amin and her assistant Kayla, indeed the whole practice are amazing, especially for nervous patients! Their patience, kindness and professionalism have transformed me from barely being able to sit in a dentist's chair to undergoing fillings and an extraction with confidence. They make you feel safe and listened to and are completely non judgemental over fear of dentists. I would highly recommend her to anyone and whilst I'm lucky enough to receive NHS treatment for this level of care and treatment it would definitely be worth paying privately for.
