“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

But here he has never once felt uncomfortable. He’s always been treated with respect despite his age, and he is always very happy to go because they listen to him and ask him what he wants.
