“An amazing team of dedicated childminders. Jade, Gem, and Janet are an absolute joy to be around and work with and they really know how to connect with children and make them feel comfortable. Our little one loves them and loves going to the nursery, and there are always fun new activities to do and learn from. Lots of new friends have been made and it has become like a second home. We are kept updated throughout the day with a daily diary and photos on our own personal group chat. We would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone looking for dedicated childminders. “I am so pleased I chose this unique nursery for my daughter. She loves her days here, even when she is a bit apprehensive to leave me the ladies are so lovely and quick to update the baby's days app with pictures of all the interesting things she is getting up to, which puts my mind at ease. The nursery has such a lovely feel to it, different to other nurseries in the area. The updates you receive on the app throughout the day are reassuring which are then backed up by the big smile on my daughters face when I pick her up and the stories she has to tell me about her day. The singing, painting and puddings after lunch are some of her favourite things. I would definitely recommend the Yellow Door nursery, Michele and her Team!”

“Atomic is an amazing dance school with a warm, positive atmosphere and truly talented instructors. Both my daughter and I really enjoy our classes there. It’s a place where we feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn. Highly recommend for dancers of any age!”

“This is an amazing doggy daycare :) My dog Willow used to be nervous going in, but now she cannot wait to get in, and is barking her head off to tell her mates she's arrived. She is a very fit dog, but Happy Dogs always tires her out. Paul and Adam are very friendly, and the reception always looks great. I really don't know what we would do without them, it's a great place.”

“Leanne cuts our little boys hair and she gets it right every time. She is very friendly and professional who is also very fast with the haircut. She managed to cut our little boys hair even though he was crying throughout but made it as fun as possible for him without comprising the quality of the haircut. 10/10 recommend for first time haircuts for little ones.”

Both of my children attend here, and the staff, managers, and owners consistently go above and beyond to ensure the children are well cared for while having fun and learning. “Our little girl attends 2 days a week and absolutely loves it! We’ve found that the staff have been professional and caring at the same time, making the transition to our daughter attending nursery a smooth one. They cater to her individual likes and needs and we know she is in good hands with people who genuinely know and care about her. The initial consultation with Natalie was a real pleasure as she took time to explain things clearly without being pushy at all, something that we found did happen when we viewed other nurseries. We would recommend this nursery to anyone, but especially those who are nervous about putting a child into nursery for the first time.”

“I have been taking my 26 months old to the toddler session run by Ellen for past 8 months , she loves it and looks forward to it every single week. She has learned so much over these past months. She had her 2 year development check and the health visitor was pleasantly surprised that she could jump with both her feet above the ground all by herself at this young age. All thanks to Ellen’s effort, she puts so much thought into each session , it has really paid off.”

“My son attended LSC Thorn Grove for a multisports holiday club and it was the first time he's ever been to any kind of summer camp provision before. He absolutely loved it and raved about trying out all the different sports. It was a great introduction to some new sports like dodgeball and cricket and he learned a lot. There were lots of other children there from his reception class which I think really helped. We'll be booking him in this summer for a few days too.”

“I've been sending my children to Mulberry Bush (Dumers Lane) since 2018 and I'd never consider another nursery. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming, they form such a personal bond with the children. I feel happy and comfortable that they are there for my children whilst im work to give them many experiences (and cuddles!) When my 3rd child came along there was no question that I would also be sending him to Mulberry. They have external agencies come in to teach them languages, see different animals and even visits from the emergency services. They are outstanding in every area especially with safeguarding.”

“Brilliant place with a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and welcoming with extremely friendly volunteers running it. Brings a real sense of community which is part of the aim. They run a fab cafe with some very different choices of food and also include vegetarian and vegan options too. Events and projects for the community run during the day and the evening. There's a bar for evening events which serves a great selection of drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. A very relaxed informal welcoming place. Open mic night is lots of fun with anyone and everyone encouraged to get up and play or sing. Very eclectic with something for everyone. Lots of local artisans and artists sell their wares here too and there are lots of plans in the pipeline yet to come”

“We had our son's 11th birthday party here recently, and it was a great experience - it's such good value, especially the bowling time, the arcade games and the food is lovely. Aleina in particular was a wonderful host who took really good care of us all. This is the third year in a row we've had birthday parties at the Light, and it never disappoints!”

The variety of classes on offer far outstrips any other studio in Manchester and they offer great value for money. Easily accessible, just 10 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, if you are looking to start out or to drop by and practice insane tricks, Polefire is without a doubt the best place to go!”

“We used Gizmo's to look after our cat (also coincidentally called Gizmo) while we went on holiday and I am so happy with the service. They came everyday whilst away ensured that Gizmo was fed and happy, the service they provide is hassle free and we had no worries whilst away. We even got updates which we loved. We are so impressed with the service they provided that we have already booked in for when we are away again! I would 100% recommend Gizmos Pet Services to anyone!”

“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”

“We have taken the kids a few times and more recently attended a Peppa Pig party to celebrate my son and daughters 3rd birthday. The place it's self is a little small but has a lot to offer we particularly like it because of the sensory room which offers a clam environment for my son. The twins also enjoyed the interactive room and the main soft play area which is great for young children. The food in the cafe is very nice offers both hot and cold food. Great place, great people and would highly recommend”

“A hidden gem. Doesn't look much from outside,and in middle of houses so don't expect a club there, but inside cosy welcoming and very friendly staff. Also has stage and puts on events, but l haven't seen any of these, yet.”

“My daughter joined the nursery 4 days a week over extended hours just before she turned 1. As a new parent I was really nervous about this but was immediately put at ease by the staff. My daughter started with a few settling in mornings and then began nursery the following week. Over the course of the 7 weeks I have seen my daughters progress updated on the ‘Famly’ app. This will tell you exactly what she has eaten and drank and how much, nappy changes and her sleep. The app is also updated with key information for the nursery along with pictures and progress of your child. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough, when my daughter leaves for nursery in the mornings she happy to go and she comes home with a beaming smile and I can tell she’s had lots of fun. The staff at the nursery will go above and beyond to ensure not only your child is settled within the nursery but also check you are ok and send pictures and updates throughout those first few days.”
