I ordered Post Crete and it was heavy so, having a leg injury, I asked would someone please carry it to my car. They immediately said they would! They were great to chat to in thw process, asked me how I was with my injury, etc. Great member of staff and very professional, fast service. I'll have to pop in more! “I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. “Always great food at reasonable prices. Delivery drivers always polite on arrival even when I’ve not had change to tip, which is rare for me because I really enjoy the food so try to always tip. Ordered on New Year’s Eve and it arrived in 25 minutes. I never usually leave reviews but have been ordering from here a few years now and feel they deserve it.”

“What a well stocked supermarket. Everything you want you can find here. Fish ( live), are really good and it's prepared for you. Staff are helpful if you ask anything and prices are reasonable. Easy to park and worth a visit. Great upstairs restaurant too, lunchtime is popular.”

“Took my Rotweiler a few times, it's nice to go in a pub with a big dog and people don't look down on him. The staff give him treats and come and stroke him, always a filled water bowl. Great food & they do dog Sunday dinners which go down a treat for £2.50 & a lovely normal roast dinner too. The food menu has a lot of variety. Brilliant view of the canal from the carpark. We love it here”

“Heard they just got new owners so went in to try. Instantly I as I go in, staff were very friendly. I got a doner and chips, and garlic bread pizza. The food was incredibly fresh, chips were crispy and doner was tasty, not to mention the pizza was cheesy and crispy. 5/5 definitely recommend.”
