“Very decent budget hotel. Can’t fault the location. Right next to the train station. But I parked in a very new looking multi-storey NCP a 2 minute walk away. There’s also a handy Sainsburys Local next to the car park. Fairly standard Express room. But everything was in good order and very clean. Nice big walk-in shower with great water pressure. Breakfast quality was very good for this class of hotel and the 2 ladies running the breakfast service were very friendly and efficient.”

“What a gem in Marple! Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Lovely view of Mellor from our room! We really enjoyed our stay and will happily recommend to others!”

“The best place for your fur babies ever, cath looks after them like they are her own ( she has a few of them also) our boy loves it there, and if you want to get in, you have to book really early as she's always full. Five star treatment all the way.”

“Cherelle is the loveliest person ever and would 100% recommed her salon. She completely transformed my hair into exactly how I wanted it. My hair was awful but she did such an amazing job and I'm extremely happy with it now. 10/10 experience”

“We booked Sam for our wedding last Thursday. I got to say he was very outstanding. Firstly, so polite and on time. Secondly, all our friends and family spoke so highly of him and absolutely loved the tricks. Was lovely to have him as part of the day. He also did a finishing trick for me and my wife which was a lovely touch as we were busy getting photos and stuff most of the time he was there. Would recommend Sam to anyone 10/10, thanks again”

“Thank you for the incredible food and excellent service at Shaam. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help but notice the same care and attention given to the dishes on other tables as well, all accompanied by a wonderful aroma. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday special by bringing out a slice of cake with a candle, creating a lovely atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer a variety of music, and we did notice a few bothersome flies from time to time.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“Ordered here on on the 7th Had lamb Bhuna and Chicken Dupiaza with PeshWari naan and a paratha with poppa doms and chutney tray Starters:Poppadoms with chutney tray 8/10 Very nice fresh poppadoms love the garnish of coriander on the onion relish everything perfect except lime pickle was more spicy than sour Mains: Lamb bhuna Chicken Dupiaza pilau rice 9.7/10 The lamb Bhuna was simply amazing It was creamy and sweet and a touch spicy Loved every spoonfull. Dupiaza Was good nothing really to write home about chicken was nicely cooked tasted nice But i Again state Nothing to write home about Price: Ordered from Just eat would have prefered to order directly as all profits go to the takeaway itself. For the overal order It came to £22.95 if i was sat inside the restaraunt itself i would have given £5 tip Overall: If you love curries this is the place to try Hoping they win the stockport curry award as that meal deserved it from me anyway Thanks to the Restaraunt for making my meal a delight and i hope you continue at this set standard.”

“Have lived just round the corner from here for 2 years but for some reason never used it. Boy were we missing out! Everything we ordered was top notch. As good, if not better than The Mayflower, massive portions and cheap. Kudos for staying open during COVID-19 too. Will be the new regular”

I love the Boars Head I've been frequently the place since I was a teenager and now I live in Ireland I still make a point of going in the place when I return to my home town of Stockport. It's a nice traditional pub with a warm and friendly clientele with beers and spirits at very reasonable prices.”
