“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. Drinks are also great value, with top brands served at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, no matter how busy it gets. They always do their best to accommodate everyone including dietary needs, and make you feel right at home. Whether you’re after a comforting roast, a special night out, or just a few drinks in a warm atmosphere, this place delivers every time. “Taxi Drivers around Manchester have been telling me about this place for so long with rave reviews and I didn’t take their advice until this weekend and I’m on my 5th consecutive day ordering. The Kobedi’s (kebab) are absolutely unreal (Sahara Grill Rochdale restaurant level) so this is my go to order, however I’ve sampled the Chicken and Lamb kebabs too and they’re unreal. All the meat is quality and cooked to perfection in the clay ovens. When I say this is the best takeaway I’ve ever had (to the point of me deleting my JustEat and Domino’s app) you better believe it. Unreal.”

“Went for midweek lunch with a friend , we both had the 2 course menu deal and drinks . Very quiet with few customers while we were there, nice friendly staff . Food was very good if on the small portion side , we had the steak and ale pie . Have been here in the past and it has always been a good experience .”

“Ocean Tresaure Seafood Restaurant is an old and long history Chinese Restaurant in Greengate Industrial Estate, Middleton, Manchester. This restaurant has a very traditional Chinese upholstery with Chinese antique furniture and decoration. A spacious dining hall which it can occupy any banquet by over 40 tables. The Chinese dim sums are good worth having a long - time driving taken from the City centre to there. We took the bus 117 from the Oldham Street bus terminal but it had at least a 30-minute travel. When in return, it is advisable to better have the bus 112 which takes a shorter travel time. This Restaurant has a praise of mouth from gourmets by its friendly and nice staff, quality of dim sums, fried rice, fresh and live lobsters etcs and a comfortable dining hall sitting in.”

“Went in at tea time on a Wednesday and had a delicious rag pudding. The pudding, chips, peas and gravy were all amazing, I would highly recommend. Staff were also lovely and helpful. Pub looks amazing too and was very busy for the day and time. Staff have done really well to get the pub to where it is. Get in there and get some food in you.”

“Took my Rotweiler a few times, it's nice to go in a pub with a big dog and people don't look down on him. The staff give him treats and come and stroke him, always a filled water bowl. Great food & they do dog Sunday dinners which go down a treat for £2.50 & a lovely normal roast dinner too. The food menu has a lot of variety. Brilliant view of the canal from the carpark. We love it here”
