“We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my sister’s birthday! I initially came across the restaurant on Google while searching for gluten-free options, and I love how it caters so thoughtfully to people with allergies. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks especially to Salvador, he went above and beyond to explain gluten-free options and made the evening truly memorable. The restaurant’s decor, the cake, and the food created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. My sister was submitting her master’s thesis on the same day and wasn’t initially in a celebratory mood, but the team made the day unforgettable. I had the Spaghetti Aragosta e Gamberoni and asked for extra chili and a slice of lemon, and Ericka provided it quickly with a friendly, helpful attitude, her service was great as well. Compliments to the chef too: my sister had the gluten- free pizza and said it was the best she’s ever had! Thank you again, Salvador, we will definitely be back. It’s service like this that makes places truly memorable!”

“Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”

“Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “Just got back from an overnight stay with my 8 year old autistic son. My sons special interest is vehicles of any description, I mentioned this when booking the room and asked if we could possibly be overlooking either a road or train station. Our room was perfect, he was blown away, we could see trains, trams, buses cars the whole shabang! The staff were all phenomenal, friendly, helpful, understanding of my son and his needs, nothing has been too much trouble. We enjoyed the pool, had room service and ate at the breakfast buffet. All fantastic. I would recommend this hotel, the staff and location are perfect.”

“We stayed in a family room on the top floor. The room was clean & spacious & good amenities. It is an old building, not fancy & steep staircases but if you are ok with this then it's a great place to stay. All the staff in the hotel & down in the pub are brilliant, very welcoming & accommodating & they obviously get on well. Our breakfast was included as we booked direct & we got 20% off food & drinks at other times. The food was very nice & large portions. Excellent location especially if you're at an event at the AO Arena.”

Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic.
