“Highly recommended to anyone needing dental work done, the team here go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and take pride in the standards of their work. After my false crown finally gave up after a decade, cracking the tooth root in the process, I needed to understand my options and what choice was right for me. From the very first consultation Phil and the staff were excellent, explaining to me all options, possible risks, what to expect and how the process would work. They showed me the scans so I could see for myself what was had happened and what could be done. I chose to go for a dental implant which, given we are hopeful it will last decades for me, is actually a responsible investment to restore my smile. Although quite unsettling for me, both to actually lose a tooth and also to face an unknown surgery involving worrying phrases such as 'drill into the bone' and 'reshape the gums' Phil has seen this kind of problem many times before and his confidence in being able to make it right counts for a lot. I left the building with a timetable of my treatment and the price quoted was the one I paid, it never changed. After a few weeks of treatment I have now had the old root extracted and implant placed in one session, and recently had the permanent crown fitted after allowing a few weeks for healing. It was all done with care and consideration and I am so pleased with the result. The only time I was a little sore during the process was after the extraction, which is to be expected, but I was handed a bag of aftercare products and followed up on by the staff the day after. A week or so later I was fine. I felt nothing as the implant was set into my jawbone, and only a pinch when the permanent crown was set into the gum. Should you need dental work doing then do consider these guys, they know what they are doing and take a personal satisfaction in doing the job well.”

“Second time having Afternoon Tea here and still great. The staff are amazing. They are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The Afternoon Tea for 2 is tasty and fresh. We also ordered scrambled eggs on toast for our 8month old. He enjoyed it, as did I. It's the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Came out hot, too, which was even better. Would 100% recommend without a doubt.”

“Absolutely love the food here proper home cooked hearty food which is actually quite hard to find these days. We come quite often to have lunch and I normally opt for one of their amazing pies and my other half loves their Lasagna. Staff are very friendly and welcoming aswell would definitely recommend to others”

“Approached Patrick for some help with a legal issue. Unfortunately he wasn't able to help due to not being an area of law he deals with, however he still helped me to find the right solicitor and his service and care was exceptional. Would highly recommend and if we ever need his services we will be straight back to him. Nothing was too much trouble.”

“Andrew was so lovely, and he took a design both me and my husband to be had deigned so it had a bit of both of us on it and made it come to full fruition! He had also designed a ring for my Nanna, a few years back, so after she had passed away & I had inherited it, then had it stolen from me I wanted it recreated in white gold. So very kindly, Andrew dug out the design specs for me, sized my finger and it was also perfect! I won’t go anywhere else for my jewellery needs/wants, and I would ONLY USE HIS NAME if anyone asked me for a recommendation! I suggest everyone who want a fair price for any kind of jewellery bespoke or otherwise, to go to see him themselves before going anywhere else! In the pictures, the two hands you can see our wedding bands and the recreation on my middle finger, Andrew also made the ring in the second picture for my grandfather when he first opened his shop I believe, but it was being worn by my father in this picture, and the third picture gives you a better look at my wedding ring, it’s a white gold spinner with a small black diamond and filigree letters all the way around saying, I will love you forever, in Spanish! “Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The fact that the restaurant is also kid-friendly made our experience even better, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy together. We honestly can’t thank the staff enough for making us feel so comfortable and well cared for every single time. This place is a real gem we’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“This place is amazing. Visited for the first time yesterday and will certainly be back. The food was great, felt really authentic and was clearly freshly made. It is also so reasonably priced for what you get I was met warmly when I went to collect our order and whilst I didnt get to chat the service was genuine and the people were lovely I don't know what goes into the gravy with the chicken split but I would happily have it everyday My photos do not do this place justice as I was too eager to start eating!”

“I wanted a hair product so this was the 2nd hairdresser l had been to and was the most informative the lady listened to my request and pointed out at least 3 products she didn't push the most expensive put reccomed a new product which happened to be the cheapest she and another hairdresser used the same product and they took card didn't ask for cash,l have just used the product and l am thrilled well done ladies l will be back.”

“Great venue for stand up comedy, not so big that you lose the feeling of being part of the show. Good slope on the seating so the view from further back is still ok. Comfy seats, easy to get in and out, lots of parking nearby.”

“Nipped in for a meal being intrigued by the name of a pub as The White Lion with the picture of a zebra on the pub sign. The pub is under refurbishment. The service was perfect. We had 3 roasts and we were struggling to eat all of the food. One small criticism - the food was not hot enough. I made a special request about my drink and it was not a problem for the barman to accommodate it.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit to The Wycliffe Hotel, Stockport this weekend. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size. The bed was very comfortable. We ate evening meal at the restaurant Excellent Italian food. A very good choice of dishes. Breakfast also excellent. Good choices. Cooked to order. Deliciously hot. We will definitely stay here again. We can highly recommend this hotel.”

“Fantastic old historic pub just refurbished and reopened underneath the famous Stockport Viaduct, the largest brick-only construction in the world. They serve Boddingtons and many other great cask conditioned ales. Recommended.”

“Attended birthday party in the Gold Suite and stayed overnight. Food was amazing at the party and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good value and again the staff were great. Lovely rooms, if a little dated. Overall a lovely stay.”
