“Brilliant interaction with Children and parents. My son is so happy going to Pre school and is learning so much whilst here. Staff are helping massively with toilet training. Meals that are provided are perfect i get notifications on the app to say when he has eaten and how much, really puts a parents mind at rest knowing he is in the right place and being cared for. The origins of the college go back to the early 19th century St. John's Sunday school, a pioneering school for workers. By the 1950s this had evolved into St John's and Openshaw Technical College. Later mergers created the Central College Manchester which became The Manchester College of Arts and Technology in Manchester, while institutions in Central Manchester, Fielden Park, Arden and Wythenshawe merged to form City College Manchester. I’m really enjoying my time here.The teachers and staff are so supportive and helpful. I’ve learned a lot and feel more confident every day. It’s a great place to study! Last year, I completed the ESOL (16-18) Entry 3 course with the teacher Mark Gourlay , which helped me build my English skills and confidence. This year, I’m studying Functional Skills English and Maths with the adult group, and I’m really enjoying it. The teachers here are fantastic — my Maths teacher, Maryama Gholami, and my English teacher, Nuzhat Siddique, and my IT Teacher Asif Saleh are all very supportive, kind, and always explain everything clearly. They always take the time to help every student and make sure we all understand the lesson. The staff are else very helpful and friendly. Whenever I need help or have a question, there is always someone there to support me. The college offers so many great facilities, and the learning environment is very comfortable and welcoming. I’ve learned so much since I joined, not just in English and Maths, but also about communication, teamwork, and confidence. I feel really happy and safe here, and I enjoy coming to college every day. The Manchester College has given me a great experience, and I’m very thankful to be part of it.
