“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “Amazing! Nicola is a the exact person you want to see in a play centre/restaurant. Me and my children were welcomed from the front door (first time) and showed the play area, made conversation and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nicola is clearly a child friendly lady (surprisingly not all play centre staff are!) she was happy, energetic, polite, funny and looked after everyone there even as it got busier. A massive relief to feel like this when you have a child who can be easily overstimulated and the reaction of new adults and environments can have a huge affect on behaviour. Tilly was so happy and couldn’t wait to get in and also spoke to Nicole as she clearly felt comfortable. Great play area for my 3 and 1 year old. After attending many play areas the staff make a huge different to wanting to return! Nicola told us about the sessions we will definitely be attending for SEN. “Great club, great sensei's, friendly family atmosphere. Brilliant place to learn for adults and children alike. Sensei's Debbie & David are brilliant karateka and instructors. I'm always amazed at how much we cover in their classes without missing out on technical detail, it is always very high quality instruction. I have no idea how they manage it. You couldn't ask for a better team of coaches and instructors. Highly recommended to anyone starting their karate journey or wanting to get back in karate, you won't be disappointed!”
