“Fantastic hotel. As a corporate, I've stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say that the village cheadle is the best in terms of service, attentiveness / friendliness of staff, food quality is top quality, gym and spa facilities excellent. Im a member of David Lloyd and I can tell you the quality of the gym and spa at the village cheadle is on a par to DL at a fraction of the price. Village cheadle is 3* hotel but in my opinion it far surpasses the other 4* hotels in the vicinity”

“I held my sons 9th birthday party at The Lobby, and it was amazing. The kids loved it, and my son said it was by far the best birthday party he has ever had. All the kids loved it. The lovely couple there were so nice and helpful. They provided plates, cups , and drinks for the kids (and the parents)! We felt so welcomed and looked after. “The building, i believe, is not open to the general pubic but luckily for me, i work for the company that maintains it, so I got to see inside and how grand it is pictures speak for themselves it's grade 2 listed and has links with Agatha christie and also prince albert is rumourd to have stayed the night here on a visit to Manchester to open a gallery”

“What a lovely evening I have just had for my daughter’s 11th birthday family meal. I booked a table online and requested a table near the window which we got and then as a surprise at the end of the meal the chef brought out a cake and the staff sang happy birthday to my daughter which I wasn’t expecting. All the staff were superb. I’m afraid I didn’t catch their names but a blond lady and a tall lad with longer hair looked after us and a female chef. They all deserve massive praise. Constantly checking we were all ok and dealing with my sisters gluten free dietary requirements (she was impressed and happy that you kept everything separate and even more happy she got a carvery with gluten free Yorkshires and gravy!). The food was as expected- pub grub, great quantity and taste. We all left full of happiness and full bellies and that’s all we want from a family outing! So thankyou”

“To experience this oddity in the modern world you cannot do it over a couple of drinks or a fleeting visit. It has historical and cultural depths that the locals are barely conscious of and only the regulars get it. Once you get it you'll find it difficult to let go. When I enter the MOP it feels like I'm putting on an old, but well loved jacket, with its creases that fits just right. Comfortable.”
