Local dining experiences in Prestwich

“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

“Great big neon signs to attract your attention. We ordered online (no honestly we were on the tram back from Bury) and collected our order when we got off at Heaton Park. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean, theres a few stools in the waiting area. We ordered 2 burgers, chips, cheesy chips and onion rings. When we got home the burgers were wrapped in foil and then greeseproof paper so they were still hot and fresh. The sauce is a little too hot for us but still very nice, onion rings were crispy as were the chips.”

“Fantastic and trendy. They have a new menu which was epic. Also had a dj on while we were there and that mixed it up a bit, which was great. Fantastic staff and a cracking little place.”

“Lovely place, right next to Heaton Park metro. Only had a brew and a cake but it’s spacious, light and airy, with nice, big booths and a sunny back yard (looks like a good set up for DJ’s too) Coffee was good, sweet stuff was from Silver Apples, so pretty familiar and more than decent quality. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely head back and try some proper food and drinks soon”

“I booked a dome for afternoon tea for partners birthday. Food was delicious. I had the vegan option which was really well thought out rather than just dupes of the classic. We were served by Angel who was very polite, professional and helpful. Angel went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and extra as its been such a hot day. “Went last weekend for meal with friends. Host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was promt. Food was excellent, served hot, portion sizes great, and so tasty!! Had the gobi manchurian, shared lamb chop starter. My friends and I had a fabulous time.....Will definately be going again soon, highly recommend this restaurant.”

“We’ve been looking for a Chinese takeaway to call our favourite and not had much luck with the ones local to us. Found Golden Crown based on a friends recommendation and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite! Bit of a drive but well worth it. We tried the combo for 2 and everything was amazing especially the crispy chicken in OK sauce. 10/10!!”

I have the veggie breakfast and I was skeptical at how good broccoli would be on an 11am meal but I didn't need to be! This breakfast delivered. The broccoli, the hummus the Potatoes each bit was tastier then the last!”

“I absolutely love Mozzarella! Their food is always fresh and delicious — not just the pizza (which is amazing), but also their salads and other dishes. Even though I’m not Jewish, I’ve always been treated with such kindness and respect every time I visit. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make everyone feel at home. I arrived and went inside and I ordered a large tray of Chicken Donner(£10), Salad and sauces and cheesy Chips(£4), service was great, restaurant take Away was spotlessly clean and has 5☆ Hygiene rating, They have tables and chairs if you want to eat in aswell as take away Food was amazing, generous portions and absolutely delicious, Really impressed and we definitely recommend Anatolian Express. “I popped down to Moda for breakfast on Wednesday morning (their opening day) I had the steak and eggs with the healthy breakfast bowl and it was stunning both dishes were full of flavour and well cooked. Inside the decor is beautiful and calming with a great vibe. The staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. I looked over the drinks menu and so much choice for everyone's taste. I can’t wait to go again.”

“Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”

“Tried a salt beef bagel, it was really good. Large portions and good sauces. Just wasn’t a fan of the chicken “rips” because it was chicken thigh instead of breast, but the breading on it was nice. Would definitely go again and try the pastrami and truffle fries. It was halal”

“Always get great food from here, Salt n Pepper king prawns, quarter duck, hot n sour soup, Shui Mai ........everything I've had has been very good, not had one bad meal and have been going for a long time, do ask for extra chilli as its not that spicy when ordering”
