“Been here 4 times and thoroughly enjoyed every visit. This is a really well- run restaurant and nicely appointed, creating a really pleasant environment to catch up over the well presented and really tasty food and well- chosen wine list. The steak, carbonara and lamb are all just delightful. Not the cheapest, but thoroughly worth it. I'll be returning regularly.”

“What an amazing venue this is, recently moved from another location, there's an incline up to the front door but NO steps. I will definatley be going again, my initial thoughts were that you had to book a meal or a show to go in, but NO you can just go in for drinks like any other bar. There's big screens showing current sports events and if there's an evening performer on there are soundproof doors separating the 2 rooms. Great for a night out keep a look out on Facebook or Skiddle (event ticket app) for upcoming shows. We saw an ABBA tribute act and they were brilliant. There's plenty of seats. When you book your tickets you get a table all with a great view. A waitress will come round to take any drinks orders and pay by card so you won't miss any of the show either. Everywhere is spotless, there's plenty of places for a photo op, there's even a photo booth downstairs near the loos. And all the staff were lovely too.”

“Really lovely place with great food! My husband order a burger and I ordered a burrito. Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. If there's an improvement maybe it would be nice to have a spiced rice instead of plain rice for the burrito as it watered down the taste but overall, we enjoyed the food. Husband said it was probably the best burger that he had in Manchester! The fries that we had was amazing too! We'd love to be back and try the other stuff in their menu.”

Found Golden Crown based on a friends recommendation and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite! Bit of a drive but well worth it. “I have to say, it's not often my expectations are met when dining but I am delighted to say that Mogul, Whitefield, Manchester certainly exceeded my expectations in delivering a delicious desi lamb Nihari dish that was finger licking great with yummy tandoori Roti to soak up the tasty sauce. The chai request was a great finish to my appetite and satisfaction. The were amazing with their hospitality and meeting my request. Definitely going there again.
