“From the excellent reviews, I was expecting a lot. I wasn't disappointed. The menu contains the traditional tapas options, with the odd twist. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered 6 tapas between the two of us. This ended up being quite a bit of food. We still managed it though. Some dishes are on the pricey side, but the quality made them worth it. The mushrooms in cream, the pork belly and the albondigas (with cheese) were the highlights. But, as mentioned, everything was delicious.”

“This burger shop is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends. The burgers are juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. you can really tell they use quality ingredients. “The Hesketh is hands down the best place for a Sunday roast! I had the chicken roast and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy that tied everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation spot on, and the flavours reminded me of a proper homemade Sunday dinner, only better! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear the team really take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast in the area, The Hesketh is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next week !”

“Delicious chicken burger and sandwiches overall. I wouldn’t recommend the peanut butter and jelly milkshake -it was really disappointing -but the Oreo milkshake was nice. The sauces were all great, and the tenders were lovely. I tried both a sandwich and the burger. The sandwich was much better; the burger felt a bit bulked out with cabbage, though still tasty. Service was a bit slow -I ordered first but my meal came last out of our group of 11. Overall, I would recommend it for the food.”

“So, fundamentally this was a really nice place. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. I felt it was clean and well-looked after and I did not find anything obvious out of place. Our party was there for a wedding reception and there were quite a lot of us. We ordered a lot of food and although I felt that the service was a little slow perhaps, I didn't find it slow to the point of questioning it as, after all, they were cooking approximately 20 meals from scratch. I ordered lamb shank and crème brule and I really enjoyed the lamb. I found it to be well cooked and definitely enjoyed my meal. As far as I am aware most of our party enjoyed their meal and we found nothing to complain about with the food at all. The service was actually really pro-active and helpful and I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the staff were really polite.”
