“For my partner and I this is the best chippy English and Chinese where we live there really, nice, polite, respectful and friendly the food is awesome the prices are good, fair and worth every penny. The delivery drivers are also nice, friendly and polite. It’s by far the best Chippy I would definitely recommend. It’s also the only chippy we and our family use.”

“Went tonight with a party of 6, absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Unbelievable Italian drinks selection. Sat down inside when everyone arrived, the owner made room for my father in-law in his wheel chair. (Which isn't easy everywhere!) Food was amazing, everyone loved it, I had the lasagne which was Unbelievable. Honestly couldn't recommend any more. We can't wait to go back. “Best curry restaurant for miles around. Have been a frequent visitor for over 20 years. Traditional curries that don't all use the same base unlike some places. Never had a bad experience here in the whole time I've been a customer. We don't live local anymore but still drive the 6 miles to attend. Ami and the staff are great can not recommend highly enough. “Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“Absolutely delicious chicken wings, some of the best I've ever had. Quite happy with the salad that comes with the wings meal, didn't even expect salad but I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is nice and interacting with the staff was very pleasant. The meal also came with a flatbread, which was nice, but it tasted like store bought bread and not great taste. It's free, but probably can do without it or I'd be happy to pay more for better bread. The chips were probably 2/5, it was weird to have such mediocre chips with such great wings, and the 5* is solely because the wings and the service were outstanding. About the chips: too few, some of them were overcooked, some undercooked, a few were perfect, others were oily, had some weirdly shaped ones - pretty much what I get when I make chips at home. The peri-peri salt was top notch though...”
