“I feel the need to write this review due to the many unnecessary unfair reviews. I am writing this review to provide feedback on the experiences of my wife, who is a patient at Dr. Subramanian's practice. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Subramanian for many many years, and we wish to convey that she finds him to be an excellent and highly valued doctor. She is more than extremely satisfied with the care she receives and would not consider changing practices. Regarding her access to appointments, my wife has always been able to get an appointment when needed and has never encountered any difficulty in being seen. This is in stark contrast to my own doctors at the same health centre, where it can be impossible to get an appointment unless you book three weeks in advance. Despite the option to call at 8 am for a same-day appointment, I have found it nearly impossible to get through to the practice, which often just gives an out-of-service tone. This brings me to a common complaint I hear from people about potential delays to appointment times. I have observed that Dr. Subramanian often makes a significant effort to accommodate patients who present with urgent issues on the day. Furthermore, I have noticed that delays can also occur when patients require a double appointment but only book a standard one, or they present with multiple issues they need addressing. From what I can see, the doctor is very thorough and compassionate in addressing all of their concerns, which can sometimes extend beyond the scheduled time. While this might occasionally lead to waiting longer for a pre-booked appointment, I believe this reflects a true commitment to ensuring those with immediate needs are seen, and that everyone gets the time they need. This responsiveness for urgent matters is something I value greatly, as it is not always my understanding of how easy it is to access care at other practices. Overall, my wife and I are very happy with the care and accessibility provided by Dr. Subramanian. He is a credit to his profession.”

“After much talking with Cohens H/O, with Gabriella and then on to Mr David Wright, things have finally worked out at the Boston Spa branch who now have a shop manager called Liam. I've wished Liam well with his new role and spoke again with Gabriella, I think it's wonderful that after a short telephone call, all these wonderful changes have now taken effect, it's really lovely to know that you are listened to by a huge Pharmaceutical Group. Most people would think "oh don't bother calling them, they'll take no notice of what you have to say, they're a business afterall", this couldn't be further from the truth. They are excellent communicators, they show empathy and sympathy and it's more than obvious that they care about their customers very much. I've been faithful to Cohens for many years and can honestly say that I will carry on doing so. If you've changed your pharmacy to say, somewhere in Wetherby but live in Boston Spa. Please come back, Liam has only been there a couple of weeks and already there is a vast improvement. I want to say a big thank you to Richard, the driver as well, without whom, none of this would ever have even been broached, let alone sorted.
