“Please can all our customers accept our apologies for over the last few weeks for any chip issues you may have encountered, potato’s have seasons and unfortunately July / August are mixed bags which is out of our control, the mixed potatoes all fry differently. We now have the new season potatoes in stock to provide the quality of chips we are all used to from the Frydays team”

“I had this burger years ago while at university, and I’ve never had a burger as good. Makes me want to fly back to the UK just for it. Perhaps it’s nostalgia or just fond memories but the portion size and quality for price was much appreciated as a student.”

“We came to Hei Hei’s after a huge walk and starving. We originally ordered to takeout but were kindly given drinks vouchers and so ventured to the bar upstairs. As we were waiting the lovely staff asked us if we would like to eat in the restaurant instead. We explained we would love to but our dog was waiting in the car. Mani and the other manager then said it was no problem to bring our pooch in! They treated our pup to chicken and pork before bringing us a delicious feast! The atmosphere and music was relaxed and ambient and the food was fantastic. I can’t recommend this place enough for both service and food. Needless to say, we can’t wait to return :) Recommend: the best curry sauce I’ve ever had”

“Ate here after visiting a relative at the hospital. Had Chicken Tikka Dirty Chips with salad and chili sauce, which was mouthwatering. Just what I needed at the end of a long day. By far the best thing I have been served in a box, ever. Staff were friendly, service was quick, the cafe was nicely set out, even with newspapers to read. Very quiet - only two other people came to eat while I was there. I really recommend this place. The cucumber on the picture is sliced, really!”

“Been ordering for years, stopped for a bit due to finances and pandemic, started to order again. Anyway, had a problem with the food once years back but that was sorted out. Other problems years ago were the previous delivery drivers who would not get out of the car and bring the food to the door, that was sorted after I told them. Different drivers now, but I collect orders, food good, friendly place, will talk to you abit if they are not that busy making food.”

“Ordered off Just Eat. The food was delicious. The chef's special, tandoori chicken, and the garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms were especially good. The sylheti biryani was really nice. I will say the naga special needed more naga, in my opinion, but I am a spice fanatic. It was a bit too tomatoey for me as well. The chips were lovely and crispy and the naan was very delicious. The food did come a bit late, but that's understandable since its Friday around peak times. I ordered 2 naga curries, but only 1 arrived, which was a shame. Overall, the food we ordered was delicious, the staff member who delivered the food was friendly, and it was all a good price. Will be ordering again for sure.”
